I've got character sheets in the works right now, and the intro is largely planned out.

Once I have substantial progress on the story and programming, the intro will be free to play on itch.io !

~Some lore of the world~

All this stuff is subject to change as I develop more of the story:

The Old Triad - Originators of all monsters. They gradually took form alongside the evolution of humans and, coupled with the fear and anguish in the minds of humans, created monsters. They conduct their world order unseen and unknown to humanity. Their manifestations are made from delusion, death, and suffering.

"Anomalies" - Monsters or entities born or manifested during or as a result of the Ripping. They do not fall within the monster hierarchy; the Old Triad did not intend for their existence, and thus consider them abominations.

The Rip/Ripping - The event ending mankind as orchestrated by the Old Triad.

"Touched" - Select humans that are left or spared during the Ripping for the purpose of serving the Triad's interests and furthering their power and influence over the world. These humans do not stay human for long, gradually becoming part-monster and losing their mind and identity completely.

Hierarchy of Monsters- Every type of monster falls into a caste system created by the Old Triad. Monsters like boogiemen are considered among the lowest in the hierarchy, while monsters like vampires and werewolves fall in the middle castes.

And here we have a mysterious, skittish being who likes eating processed canned goods and candies…and staring.

In total, there will be several possible love interests with one of them only being obtainable at random, so saving and loading often will be key to finding them at a certain point (and in case you die). Oh, yes, some monster encounters will also be randomized, so brace yourself for running into (or away from) one!

I can confirm that one of the love interests happens to be an 8-9 ft. doll who resides in an empty shopping mall, and they keep watch on the main character through mannequins...
