Move over, Money Cat–this is the Vulture Culture Kitty, who only shows up once in a cat’s age! Reblog her within five minutes and you’ll unearth some bone, hide or other natural treasure, whether in the deepest woods, or the shelves of an antique store.
I was staring at you and you were staring at me and right then it was sort of like love, wasn’t it?

Elen Goddess of the Ways
There has been a deity that Ive seen that has been trying to contact me. A female goddess with antlers. I attempted to research on the internet for horned goddess or goddess with antlers but came up with little to no results that matched what I was seeing and feeling… Only references to the Horned God. But NOW I FINALLY CAN PUT A FACE AND NAME TO WHAT IM SEEING! IM SO HAPPY! ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~
Elen Goddess of the Ways Elen is the Guardian of the ancient track ways, the Leys, the kundalini currents in nature, and as the Horned Goddess, she leads us to the first trackways, the migratory tracks of the caribou or reindeer and later, she leads us to the path of the red deer through the forests. From here she leads us to the lost Shamanism of the isles of Britain, and we can follow her across Scandinavia, Russia, Mongolia, Siberia, India and beyond. ~ The Quest for Elen by Caroline Wise At a time when people belonged to the Land, practiced gift economics and worked cooperatively the Deer Goddess was the spirit of this land. Her forests may have diminished but in the north they still exist. The hunter gatherer societies are fewer and fewer but they still exist. Elen wears the antlers of the reindeer, the only species of cervid whose females also grow antlers, and whose ancient migratory paths took them to Britain. Elen of the Ways, takes rest on an ancient mysterious path at Lands end in Cornwall (Britain) the western most point of the land they called Albion. Also known as the Green Lady, she is the only antlered goddess known to exist. Wearing the antlers of the female reindeer. The birds visiting her are red billed Choughs. Legend says it is one of these that King Arthur shape shifted into rather than truly die.

She rarely collapses, but when she does it’s in the quiet form of the sky splitting in two.

We fell something like a star. All bright and fast and brilliant. Like hummingbird heartbeats, glow in the dark dinosaur stickers, and love, love, love. It terrified me.

Home is supposed to be where you grew up or where you live, but you made an exception just this once because you realized bigger dreams in him. His earth-shattering laugh brought out not only your own, but blossomed your heart which you almost threw away. His cologne took you to wherever you needed to be, and his kiss sent a fire through your body. You didn’t need four walls and a door, because with him, you were never in fact homeless.

Cultural Appropriation Rant
this is a little rant thing please forgive me if this really offends you because that really isn’t my intention, just trying to spread the word.
Cultural Appropriation is a huge problem to many witches. They don’t think it’s right for them or others to use things of a closed religion, they see it as disrespectful.
For the most part, I disagree completely!
In most cases, it’s not disrespectful. It’s not “Cultural Appropriation”, more like… Cultural APPRECIATION!
If we ignore for a moment that every native elder I’ve ever spoken to is perfectly fine with non-natives having dream catchers (They literally sell their dream catchers to non-natives willingly), let’s say I have a dream catcher in my window. In my case, I wouldn’t have one because I thought it looked cool; I, and most other witches, would have a dream catcher because I am aware of its purpose and am utilizing it. That’s not appropriation. That’s appreciated what an item is used for and using it for that purpose. In this case, catching and holding negative dreams.
You can choose to disagree with this, and do what you want and use substitutes and such, but please do not crucify others for appreciating an item and its use.
Thank you very much, and Blessed Be )O(
