you know what my perfect gift would be? an annotated copy of your favourite book. i don’t just mean a couple of tabs, i mean annotated. i mean highlighted to the ends of the earth, pages black with scribbled annotations, entire pages underlined and captioned ‘THIS’. i want to see tear stains on the pages, corners bent from when you threw it across the room, spine broken because you were too absorbed in the story to care. i want paragraphs of you yelling at characters, i want your witty remarks and sarcastic comments, i want your little doodles in the margins. because then you’re not just giving me a book. you’re giving me a little piece of yourself, and i think that’s the best gift you could give.

HIATUS UPDATE

This year has been full of changes. Some good, some definitely bad. I’m very very stressed with university and I’m currently in the process of changing my majors since studying Japanese makes me depressed more with every day passing. It’s not what I thought it would be. It doesn’t spark joy in me anymore. It’s just not the right thing for me to do. I’m only 19, I don’t need to have everything figured out just yet, right?

My mental health has also been an up and down but thanks to my amazing friends, mutuals and awesome music, I give my best to get better one day at a time.

I want to deeply apologize to everyone who I may have worried with my sudden dissapearance. I just simply don’t have the time or the energy left to be active on here. Maybe I will return again one day but certainly not until my current semester is finished.

Thank you everyone for welcoming me with open arms, for liking my posts, reblogging them or even for just reading them. You are all very precious and I hope that you know that you are loved. Thank you.

My uni is handling it surprisingly well! I've only heard that the Japanese classes are a mess so I'm a bit nervous about my Korean class which starts next week as well! However, the Japanese history class and all the Germanistik classes are really well set up ( besides having a video call thing Thursday's 9 am😭)

Hello guys, I'm so sorry I haven't been active the past few weeks.

Me and my family are going to move into a new house next week which is why I'm so busy. Don't worry about me, I got this!!

Also, online classes have started and until now I'm really happy with them :)

i get that we're supposed to graduate. really do. but tell me how do i focus on studying and finishing assignments when the outside is in shambles and governments are crumbling under the weight of souls of the people their incompetence and unpreparedness killed. how they expect us to work as normal as if im not living thru the biggest disaster that struck mankind this side of the 18th century. this is like if fucking, sky opened up and the trumpets sounded and i begged they wait coz i had to turn in a fucking paper before 23:59h. absurd.
