Employees at Activision Blizzard Inc. are calling for a walkout on Wednesday to protest the company’s responses to a recent sexual discrimination lawsuit and demanding more equitable treatment for underrepresented staff.

i can’t remember if i’ve seen anything about this on tumblr (seen it a few times on twitter) so i’m just putting it up just in case!!! please don’t buy, play or stream ANY activision and/or blizzard games tomorrow (JULY 28TH)! do not cross the picket line! this will impact their engagement metrics and make a VERY big stink in a way that they can’t ignore or not see. the more people that participate in this protest, the louder the message will be. this is the best i could summarize the importance and the EASE of doing this over at twitter, so i’m reposting it here too:

these men are siding with a rapist who openly didn’t comply with the investigation over a girl who has provided COUNTLESS amounts of evidence and they can quite literally all burn for it. this industry has proven time and time again that not only does it literally does not care for victims of abuse but, if pushed, that these gamers will choose their friends a million times over despite knowing what they did. they know. and they just don’t care.
