I have a lot and right know I donât remember all of them I HATE MYLSELF
-After the glaciation Akillian underwent a really hard crisis with lack of food and basic products and people were really scared and hungry and many decided to left the planet, like Artegor and Aarch and Keira. However, others like Adium decided to stay and help to rebuild it and thatâs one of the reasons why Norata and Adium were so resentful at the ones they loved (Keira and Aarch), because they abandoned not only their loved ones but also their own country and their own people.Â
-And that scarcity of resources is one of the reasons why the government of Akillian approved a law that basically said that they could only give a financial support and other aids to families with only one child and thatâs why almost every Snow Kid is an only child.
-The only exception are Mark and Thran and Ahito. In the case of Thran and Ahitoâs parents they were really afraid when they found out they were going to have twins because they didnât know if they could give them a decent life, but when they saw their little faces they knew it would be worth it.
-Mark, on the other hand, comes from a very humble family. He has two little brothers and his father and two grandfathers used to work in the ice mines and until he was like 12 years old and the recession in Akillian stopped they could barely make ends meet. And even after that their economic situation was not the best, so thatâs one of the reasons why he sometimes may look a little ambitious and is decided to be a famous player at all costs.
-AND THATâS WHY I LOVE MAYA SO MUCH. Because she lost everything in the glaciation, including his fiancĂ© and most of her family, who were in the Stadium, and yet she took charge of a baby who was not hers and gave him all she had!!
-And just like @femalespock I feel that Rocket changed dramatically after Netherball, he wasnât the same person anymore. He had always been a lonely kid with many repressed feelings, I could write so much about this and I donât even know how to start :( but I think we can stablish many parallels between DâJok, Sinedd and Rocket, and while Sinedd and Rocket are more similar than we think, DâJok is on the other side of the coin. Rocket and Sinedd grew up being very lonely and somehow sad whereas DâJok was a very cheerful kid because he had hope. I mean, Rocket had to spend his whole life with his father, a man so full of bitterness, without a mother, living apart from the rest of the world, only surrounded by snow and by their flowers, which could not hurt him. Sinedd was an orphan, he never had a real family and until he was old enough to get expelled he grew up in the orphanage and also spent some time with a few foster families but they always gave up on him cause he was such a conlifctive boy. Itâs true that, as a kid, he was Micro-ice and DâJokâs friend (he even was DâJokâs best friend before they knew Mâice at school), but when he was like 8 years old he distanced from them because he was jealous and he felt they no longer had anything in common - he had to learn to defend himself and started hating DâJok because he was lucky, I mean, they both were in the same situation as babies but DâJok was fortunate to find Maya and from Sineddâs point of view thatâs not fair. So neither Sinedd nor Rocket had any motivation, while DâJok had a woman who was like a mother to him and who didnât want to tell him that he was alone in world (Maya didnât know about Sonny so she thought DâJok was completely alone and didnât want him to find out). He still thought he could find his real family one day: a father, a grandmother, maybe a brother or a sister. He handât threw the towell yet, and that kept him safe, emotionally I mean, or at least as emotionally safe as he could be.
-Thatâs also why DâJok has such a strong faith in destiny. I mean, he is a boy with no past, so it would be terrible for him not to have a future. So before the Snow Kids and the GFC and stuff his dreams were what kept him going. And thatâs what I mean when I say that DâJokâs hope is along with Maya what keep him alive.
-DâJok is too much overprotective towards some people, like Micro-ice or Tia. Micro-ice is happy with it because of his own personality (he loves receiving love and attention), but Tia used to hate it because she has always been a independent, secretive girl (she used to be alone as a kid, too, like Rocket and Sinedd, but she didnât mind it at all - she had Stella and her camera, she travelled a lot as a kid and had a privileged upbringing and she was thankful for that, specially when she got to know her matesâ stories). So basically she couldnât stand DâJok looking after her because she thought he treated like a little child who could not do anything by herself. Nevertheless, during the second Cup she started feeling vulnerable and she liked the feeling of having somebody who cared so much about her.Â
Well now Iâm going to get some fresh air and maybe come back later and no  Iâm not crying ok?? *runs away*
