Miya Atsumu

Description:  It’s a testament to his growth. His shitty and egotistical years, his learning to exist by himself for himself, his devotion to his craft. It’s an honest look into his desire for fun on and off the court and every escapade fueled by that desire.  It’s a small glimpse into the gentler side that he hides as a form of protection.

Atsumu is well into his twenties before he discovers just how powerful toner can be. Years spent with orange tinted hair in sleazy clubs drinking the night away with his friends. Late nights followed by early morning runs and chats over smoothies. Its all perfectly atsumu. A man who loves to have fun and knows exactly what he wants.

Miya Osamu

Description:   There was a lot of time spent alone. Spent in his head while designing the menu and setting the shop up. These songs symbolize that journey to him and he still listens to them late at night when he’s there alone. No one else needs to know he’s listening to Lorde and thinking about the time spent with his friends on the court. It’s almost startling the way it may change to a love song, but hey, if Osamu doesn’t do change well, then who does?

Leaving volleyball behind wasn’t an easy decision but committing to his career in food was harder than he ever expected. The sentimental part of him hates to see Atsumu on the court without him. His heart of hearts knows he made the right choice when he sees the bustling city outside his window but ally he has to focus on his warm rice and cold hands. There wasn’t ever really a choice about his future if he thinks hard enough about it.
