narita was livetweeting one of the episodes of the anime adaptation for his series dead mount death play and said that compared to durarara characters, saya (one of the characters) is mentally stronger than izaya but mentally weaker than kasuka… which implies that kasuka is mentally stronger than izaya as well lol.
i love solitaire he's like "i have no idea what i'm doing but i'm going to pretend i do until someone tells me whats going on" & has somehow continued to stumble his way into the main story
the huge cast in dead mount death play occasionally makes for such hilarious moments, like there are so many different teams and factions that when two people fight for the first time they often have no idea why they're fighting or have the completely wrong idea of why they're fighting
and they'll say seemingly clever things like "so you can turn parts of your body into a bat... ah, i know... you must be solitaire's apprentice" with complete certainty but like no babygirl. there are 50 other unaffiliated people in shinjuku who could've taught her to do that
Freaking love this anime and just waiting for someone to host a big meeting between all the factions and is like “okay here’s the tea” and everyone is just going “oooh so that’s what it was”
For me one of the most disappointing things in Dr. Stone is that we don't actually get to see what's going on in Senku's head. If you think about it he still is just a 15 year old boy who stayed 3000 years conscious counting the seconds (which, btw, he still does to this day). And honestly? That would fuck anyone's head pretty badly. At any moment in the show or manga we actually get to explicitly see what's going on in his head or is it treated like an actual thing, the only times that we get to see his emotional side is when he remembers his father, but I don't think that's all that there's to it. I would absolutely adore a spin-off going in depth on Senku's mental state during the second stone age.
It isn’t as stressful as you may think, at least not to senku, if his thoughts were erratic maybe? But he just counted with no outside stimuli. Taiju also just kept focusing on Yuzuriha
While Senku is questionable as he did parallel processing. The repetitive methods they used to stay conscious meant that most of those thousands of years melded together. While Senku Parallel Processed, he probably set break intervals in his counting to prevent such a result

Honestly, a major reason I kept postponing content for the Night Mistress AU was because it takes about a decade in the future after season 2, but trying to come up with older designs for the younger cast that were better than canon was such a goddamn trial. I didn’t want them to look like humans with cartoon animal heads copypasted on them, or like their canon selves but stretched…in the end, I think I got what I wanted, though. She looks great!
I was hoping to get her AND Yuck out of the way today though, and tackle Carl and Saranoia tomorrow…clearly that didn’t happen. But you’ll get Yuck tomorrow, MARK MY WORDS.

Been binging Yin Yang Yo, something that has occurred to me that adds to this is that Yang has all the enemies mean while Yin is often the first choice to facilitate their schemes

3. She’s (tootie) the reason for them moving. As a fetch start
4. Timmy goes by Tim now
5. He’s no contact with Vickey (for obvious reasons) and has a restraining order on her cause she tried to take the twins
6. The twins have the a dipper, Mabel personality but opposite (willow is dipper and Carson being Mabel)
7. Carson and Hazel become friends first then with willow
8. Cosmo and Wanda get a little clingy trying to talk to Tim but he avoids them but he doesn’t want to. Sad face
9. When Peri finds out and goes to visit (taking human form) Tim almost slips and he kinda runs away

Mrs. Li had seen a lot of things, especially related to the Zhu-Tang family.
Most of those were honestly good things. Qi Xiaotian had been a great student, even if he got a little distracted by things sometimes. When the couple presented Bai He, a young girl that they had adopted in the wake of the Lady Bone Demon's attack, Li was delighted to meet her. The young girl was just as great as her newly adopted brother. The list of who could pick her up was even bigger, including the largest river demon Li had seen in this city and his cat. That didn't include the fact that Xiaotian was now their city's hero.
This tall lion was just the latest.
"Apologies, Xiaotian would've called ahead, but some things came up." The lion pushed forward a folded-up note. "He didn't want his sister to be forgotten about, so he asked that I pick her up."
Li picked up the note and unfolded it. Yep, she recognized that scrawl. Something about a scroll eating his parents and the other members on the contact list, this was Azure Lion, he was so sorry about not calling ahead, and on and on until he finally gave permission for this Azure Lion to pick up Bai He. It was exactly the kind of thing she could imagine him doing. She glanced up at the lion, taking him in.
He was incredibly good-looking, even with the old-fashioned clothes. If Li was single, she would've tried to flirt, just a little bit. He also seemed a little nervous, looking around, even with his easy air of confidence. She was tempted to ask more questions, but she trusted Xiaotian.
"Alright." She pulled up the phone and tapped in Bai He's class number. "We were getting worried when nobody showed to pick her up."
"Is she always picked up?"
"Well, considering that she's recovering from a nasty case of possession, yes." That might've been too much information, but his eyes were warm.
Soon enough, Bai He arrived. She only looked briefly surprised until Azure passed her a note. She unfolded it and looked it over, raising a brow. "Are they okay?"
"They should be. I have a lot of faith in Qi Xiaotian and Long Xiaojiao."
Her smile lit up her face, just like Xiaotian's sunshine grin. "You should." She held out her hand. "Come on, I'm tired."

She gets it away from them and manages to open it with little effort
WBS is still trapped in the temple miniature but others can enter and leave and she can grant her power to the opener of the temple
Monkey King is a warlord with the branching armies being lead by the descendants of his old companions
Fake Mayor takes place of Bird Wukong, forcing Bai He to land on Long Xiaojiao, who takes the place of Red Son. If Sun Wukong is LBD in this, Qi Xiaotian takes Bai He's place as a "host."
Red Son is Xiaojiao in this, working with Bai He at Spider Queen's store. Huntsman is their manager and Syntax is Tang, with Goliath as Sandy.
