starting from the missing scene of SoG and planned up to (then beyond) crystalized, this au is an evolving saga of scene inserts, fix-it, and full season rewrites leading to canon divergence and can basically be described as 'literally whatever i wanted to see happen at any given point in the show' lol

Heres an idea for consideration. Instead of Harumi being resurrected, its actually her Prime Empire avatar who returns, who doesnt know who she is or why shes angry, just that she was created with a deep, destructive hatred for the ninja. She blames Lloyd for her existence. I almost feel like her redemption arc would be more compelling that way. She is trying to figure out who she is, questioning if she truly hates Lloyd for personal reasons or if she hates him just bc she was programmed that way - ultimately choosing to side with the good guys in the end because she has concluded that letting go of the hate that defined her existence is the only way to truly be a real person with free will. Bonus points if this runs parallel to Lloyd's oni arc, with her learning to let go of her rage while Lloyd is coerced into letting his consume him. All this culminating into a moment where he goes ballistic as an oni and avatar!Harumi plays a key role in using what she learned to help him let go of his anger too, to talk him down. Bonus bonus points if this also somehow ties into Garm's redemption arc and the return of Racer Seven (sorry, Blazey) and the Ice Emperor. Bonus bonus BONUS points if this also features a big reveal that Mr. E/F is Echo, and they bond over being replicas of someone they never truly knew. I also feel like this idea would make Lloyd's easy acceptance of her at the end make a lot more sense - he has come to terms with the fact that this isnt Harumi, but someone else entirely, and perhaps befriending her is a step in helping him work through the trauma the real Harumi put him through. Maybe Racer Seven/Blazey helps her pick out a new name for herself too, while we're at it.

Getting Nya back should have been a season of its own tbh. It should have been Kai focused as well given heavy development between Kai and Jay's relationship

so, update: crystalized is the only season getting the actual wholesale plot rewrite instead of just edits/additions. pretty much everything is being cut and replaced or repurposed. so say farewell to the highlighter ninja and the crystal council, to nya’s ocean problem being solved immediately and the whole prison sequence by extension, potentially to harumi completely because there’s not a single consistent thing about her this season and idk how to work it into my fancanon yet (i like @/destinysbounty’s idea about her being avatar rumi tho), to the way the whole ‘oni form’ thing was handled, and, most especially, to CHRISTOFERN. also the ice emperor AS IT WAS IMPLIED before we saw the ep works really well for this au so you can BET in THIS ESSAY I WILL
