what i really want to remember at all times is how jay unrelentlessly supported all her children. she never hesitated to show her undying support in any way she can and made sure to always be there for them. she went through so much over the years yet she stood strong and blessed the lives of 7 wonderful children. she was their light and a safe haven. she would always have their backs, and in this time of despair i send all the love to her family and loved ones, though undoubtedly immeasurable to the abounding love she had for everyone. may you rest in peace jay.

Picture Preference #17: Festivals.

Harry:

Tomorrowland had always been on your bucket list. You didn’t know if you would even like it, but you wanted to be able to say that you had that experience. So, when Harry told you he was bringing you, you couldn’t hold in your excitement. You counted down the months, until finally you were in Belgium getting ready to head to the festival. You got to the festival and the sights before you were breathtaking. Everybody was just enjoying the music and having a good time. It was one of the best experiences of of your life, and you’re so glad to have gotten the opportunity to not only go, but to spend it with Harry too.

Liam:

“Smile!” Liam exclaimed, before snapping a picture of you. “We need lots of pictures to remember your very first time at Glastonbury!” You and Liam both shared a love for music, and so when you got the chance to go to Glastonbury for the first time, you couldn’t let the opportunity pass. You walked around hand-in-hand all day, taking in the sights and sounds of a place that to any festival lover, was like a fairytale. You danced to some of your favorite artists, such as The 1975, Kodaline, and Paolo Nutini. Liam even brought you backstage to meet Ed Sheeran after his set!

Louis:

This was your second time at Coachella, but your first to spend with Louis. Last year, he couldn’t make it as he was on tour and couldn’t get any time off. It took you a while to find the perfect outfit, but you were really happy with what you put together in the end. It was really nice to send some time with Louis. The sun was shining, and everybody had a smile on their face. “Have I told you you look gorgeous yet?” Louis asked with a smirk. You rolled your eyes and started laughing at him “Yes Lou, 50 million times.” “I think that’s an exaggeration, babe” he replied with a cheeky grin as you made your way to where The Chainsmokers were playing.

Niall:

You and Niall strolled through the gates of V Festival, following security to the private bar. “Want anything, babe?” Niall asked as he headed to the bar. “Just water for now, Ni.” You were so excited to go out and explore the festival, but Niall seemed to have other ideas. He stayed at the bar for almost an hour, mingling and chatting with other celebrities while you were left waiting for him to come back. You didn’t want to interrupt him and seem rude, so you just sat quietly where you were. “Aren’t you going to explore outside?” you heard a voice asking you. You turned to see Olly Murs sitting beside you. “Well, I was, but Niall obviously doesn’t want to.” you said, nodding your head in Niall’s direction. “Niall, get over here and go show your girlfriend what this festival’s all about!” Olly called to him. Niall excused himself and made his way over to you. “I’m so sorry, I couldn't get away." he told you, leaning down to give you a quick kiss. “My work here is done.” Olly said with a smirk as he walked away. For the rest of that day and the next, Niall made it up to you. You walked around, enjoying each other’s company and danced and sung your hearts out to Sam Smith, The Script, Jess Glynne, and of course, the wonderful Olly Murs.

Picture Preference #16: He tweets an airport picture.

Harry:

Harry had been away for almost two months finishing up promo work etc for Made In The AM. You were both finding it really tough to be apart for a long period of time. One day, you decided you were sick of being upset and without him so you booked a flight and within hours you were sitting in the airport, ready to see him. You decided to send him a picture to let him know you were on your way, so he could make sure he wasn’t busy. Within seconds, he was calling to ask if it was an April Fool’s prank or if you were really coming. “It’s November Harry.” “Oh yeah, sorry.”

Liam:

You had been away for your final year of college. You hadn’t seen Liam in a few months, since the last time he flew out to visit you for a few days. The plan was always for you to fly straight home after you finished your final exams and you could get back to normality. But, your mother fell sick and you had to go to help your father look after her. You postponed your flight and now, a couple of weeks later you were finally home! You scanned the airport for Liam and that’s when you saw him standing there with a huge smile and outstretched arms. You ran to him, not caring if anybody was looking. You jumped into his arms, hugging him tighter than ever before. “I’ve missed you so much.” he whispered, and the two of you just stayed like that for a while without a care in the world.

Louis:

It was really rare that you and Louis could both get time off work at the same time. So, when you did, you made the most of it. The two of you had both gotten a three week break and so you decided to spend two of those weeks away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. You both wanted to just enjoy each other’s company without having to worry about anything else. You booked flights to Bora Bora and the next day, you were on your way. You couldn’t wait to spend this time with Louis and to see Bora Bora, as you’d never been. “Whats it like Lou?” “Very very beautiful, but not as beautiful as you, love.”

Niall:

It was your birthday in a couple of days and Niall wanted to do something nice for you. You got home from work the day before to find a note on the bed. “Hey love! You’re probably wondering what this is all about. Well, it’s your birthday in a few days (which you obviously know), but I have to go to Santorini to spend a few days there with a very gorgeous woman!! Suppose you could come along, GET PACKING!!!” You couldn’t hold in your excitement and started dancing around the room while trying to find things to pack. You didn’t sleep that night, and chose to sleep on the plane instead, since you had to be at the airport for 2. Niall had other ideas, and had been in bed since 8 that evening. You woke him up, much to his disappointment and you made your way to the airport. Niall couldn’t fathom how you looked fresh as a daisy while he felt like he was going to die inside from sleep derivation. “You really haven’t lost that much sleep Niall!” you told him, to which he just muttered incomprehensible noises. “Oh yeah, you know that you’re the girl I was talking about on the note, right?” he mumbled around an hour later, finally starting to perk up.

I’ve seen a couple people saying that because of Pokemon Go they’ve walked many many miles at a stretch and how good they feel about it and I agree… but I am concerned when I see how many people also take their dogs.

You know when you feel hot or thirsty but your dog has no way of telling you he is. Idk about other areas but right now my hometown has a severe weather warning for extreme heat. You may be able to walk around and catch pokemon and know when to quit, but if you walk your dog at the same time all I’m asking is be aware of when THE DOG needs to quit too. Be aware of the signs of heatstroke, be aware of how much exercise your dog needs or can realistically handle, and especially look out if it’s a very small or a very flat faced dog. The last thing we need is someone walking five miles in the summer heat and giving their dog heatstroke because the pokestop was too far away.

It’s great that so many dogs are finally getting more exercise than ever (as pet obesity is endemic) but high temperatures carry high risks.

If you own dogs in a hot area I would expect you know what to look out for already but I also know that people are pushing themselves farther than ever in search of pokemon so just don’t forget about your real life animals when you’re chasing the cartoon ones.

Note that short-faced dogs (bulldogs, pitbull mixes, and similar) are at an increased risk for heat issues, as are small dogs, dogs with thick fur, and dogs who are overweight.

Check your pooch regularly when you’re out looking for Pokemon, and be sure to bring water for both of you, even for a short jog. If you go long distances on pavement, check your dog’s feet for burns - asphalt and concrete can scorch! There are booties you can buy to protect your friend’s feet, which would probably be a good idea in areas that regularly get over 90F.

Just in case, here’s how to help out a heat-stressed dog:

Heatstroke CAN KILL, so please be careful! If your dog seems like it’s getting too hot, get it cooled off as soon as you can. If you’re too hot, your dog is, too.

im so so tired at classism (and racism) in the makeup/fashion community or whatever. let girls buy 99 cent lipsticks from the store around the corner from them. let girls who cant afford setting spray or lipliner feel good about their makeup. let girls get their doorknockers and leggings and fake eyelashes from rainbow. let girls apply their makeup with their fingers. stop making girls feel pressured to put on makeup a certain way or to “contour their nose right”. stop making poor girls and woc (mainly black women and latinas) feel bad for not owning high end makeup and fashion brands (especially cause yall stealing these styles anyway)

Guye, I know I shouldnt be thinking like this obviously, but I think One Direction might end sooner than we all expected, or hoped for. I mean the stress will never go away, they are in a really stressful job and if Zayn can’t put up with it now, whats to say he will be able to handle it when he comes back? I mean, you must always have rain for there to be a rainbow, I know that. But what if their rainbow never comes? This might be the beginning of the end and I pray in my heart and soul it isn’t, but hey,if it is at least we can say we met some amazing people through this fandom and that were proud of all the boys achievements. They have achieved more than anybody ever imagined they would in 4 years. I am immensely proud of the boys and I am sure every single one of you guys feel the same. But tbh, I think its highly likely that the reason he's taking some time off is because of the whole cheating thing and Im really mad about that. I mean it was his choice to cheat and now hes punishing all the fans that paid money to see him because he cant put up with the backlash of his actions. He should grow a pair of balls and stick it out for the people that have made it their mission to go go see One Direction, all five members not just 4.
