I’m like, “Your mother’s face is right next to her, by the way”. He’s like, “I know, I know, but look!”
using microsoft word
*moves an image a mm to the left*
all text and images shift. four new pages appear. paragraph breaks form a union. a swarm of commas buzzes at the window. in the distance, sirens.
marleen still can’t even take a compliment
Welcome to the new masterpost!
Yeah, right, I know I haven’t posted anything lately, yet I was checking Tumblr every day… I am so, so, so sorry. I have to deal with lot of work and competitions, I was overwhelmed and overworking. I am sorry, but I hope you understand, because you know how hard it is. <3
Alright, I should stop apologizing.
So, let’s get on our little promo, which only rule is you have to check my latest masterpost, like and reblog it (probably follow me, for higher chances) and then I will randomly choose 5 people. :) For this time, I want to thank: @studiix, @greenteaandnotes, @gwennyugen, @victoriani-pluvia and last, but not least, @thefinishedworkofthecross <3 Thaaank you for your support!
Today’s here a masterpost about staying healthy in such as unpleasant weather as spring brought to us - I hope it can help you protect your body better! I am actually sick right now, but I was pretty good at staying alright this year, so yeah, here we are today! (P.S.: The next masterpost will be about foods and drinks for studying, requested by @ib-stressed <3!)
____________________________________________________
Clothing yourself (cold months, inhospitable weather):
Layers, layers, layers
TankTops under your clothes are important for your back
If you sweat through your tanktop during the day, go ahead, and change it!
Shirt/T-Shirt - long sleeves when you are grabbing light sweatshirt, short sleeves when you are grabbing warm top coat
Sweatshirt/Hoodie/Sweater/Jumper - somethin’ you can easily take off, when you are too hot, but it also warms you up on ideal temperature
Coat/Jacket - water resistant, grab a cooler one, when your layer under is really warm, grab a warmer one, when it is supposed to make you comfortable and increase your temperature
Long socks! PantyHose!
Thick leggings can be warmer then denim jeans :-)
Two layers + underwear under skirts and dresses!
High Heels - aren’t really friends with snow and ice - and you probably don’t want to break your leg :-)
Try to get warm boots, that are water resistant and fits your leg perfectly, also it is great when they are taller than your ankle, probably under-knee size! <3
Gloves & knitters!
Cap on your head! (If it is too hot for a cap, keep a bandana or scarf around your forehead and ears!)
Always keep something around your neck!
Make sure you feel comfortable enough.
Feeding yourself (healthier):
Vitamins + minerals + more vitamins
Check out my blog, the healthy foods and snack masterpost is coming soon! (I am going to put the link here, after I will upload it <3)
Vitamin C - daily eating in fresh fruits, especially in citruses, like orange or lemon, then in bananas or in vegetables, like cabbage :)
Eat 5 - 6 times a day!
Add fruits and vegetables to every meal you eat.
Always eat breakfast.
Protein is important for your health, try to eat breakfast with it.
Having two breakfasts is better than having no breakfast.
Try to not eat any junk food and sweets, or get yourself in rhythm with one “cheat meal” (like candy bar, burger…) a day/two days and limit yourself even more.
At least, one soup a day. Most likely with your lunch.
Eat one bite of dark chocolate when you’re having a sugar crave.
Don’t work/study when your are hungry.
Cooking yourself is the best way to feed yourself.
Drink water. And tea. And smoothies. And juices. Drink!
Green tea is better than coffee. It has more caffeine in it and also gives you minerals.
Daily Habits:
Keep a water bottle by your side - everytime, everywhere. You’re more likely to keep yourself hydrated when you see something you can drink from.
Lip balm and napkins in your pocket. Your lips will stay moisturized and your nose will stay clear, so you can breathe easily <3
After you get home, take a nap. Or shortly, relax. Stress is something, that causes a lot of sickness and illness. Try to separate yourself from everyday rush and stay calm. It will also refresh your body.
Walk daily. Move your body. You need to get excersise. It is great for your health, and you definitely know why :-)
See your doctor regularly.
Don’t procrastinate, stay productive.
Keep yourself in touch with art. Go to the theatre. Learn how to play the instrument. Paint. Write.
Daily hygiene.
Sleep at least 8-9 hours.

You know you’re a 90s kid when you have no good source of income and want to die
How do I know I am a millennial? I require no explanation for anything entertaining. I show my folks a funny video of a cockatoo having an argument with a dude jumping on its empty cage, and they’re like, Where did you find this? Why is that happening? I don’t know. I don’t care. It was on the Internet. That’s the only context I can give you.
