THIS IS HILARIOUS!
Behind every successful woman is herself
Interesting how at 25 years old justin bieberâs actions are always excused because heâs âjust a kidâ yet a 26 year old taylor swift was âcancelledâ and called a snake by a 35 year old woman and bullied by the whole world because of a phone call...where was the âjust a kidâ mentality then pals....very interesting
I'm gonna be real, the kanye west phone call situation meant nothing to me and didn't change how I felt about anyone but where the public's treatment/perception of taylor swift mattered to me was when everyone ignored kanye making essentially a revenge porn music video of Taylor and many other women without their consent, when there was absolute silence and lack of support during her sexual assault case to the point where she was reprimanded during the #MeToo movement for being on the Times cover because her assault case wasnt "bad enough", and now when her entire life's work is being controlled by a man who will continue to exploit it and it's met with "well she shouldn't have signed those contracts at 15". It's literally fucking insane to me how a women can go through these things involving misogyny, manipulation, sexual assault that everyone claims to care about so deeply and be met with a complete lack of empathy because she isn't likeable enough in people's books. and it's terrifying to me as a woman that if you aren't good enough a person in someone's eyes, you lose worth and people will voluntarily turn a blind eye to your struggles.
buckle up ladies iâm taking back whatâs mineÂ
long live that look on your faceâŠ
Iâm thinking about how Taylor called Lover the healthier option :â)
âThe battle with Braun and Borchetta, however, aligns with her track record over the last dozen years of targeting a succession of foes of increasingly potent stature, from tech giant Apple to the coalition of Braun and Borchetta. In the dozen years since she emerged from Nashville as this generationâs most successful singer-songwriter, Swift has consistently spoken out in support of the economic rights of her fellow creatives. [âŠ] On one level, Swiftâs latest fight is emblematic of her career. Over time sheâs stepped up to challenge adversaries of progressively greater power and influence.â
â LA Times -Â Taylor Swift, entitled millionaire, is the labor activist the music industry needs (July 3rd 2019)
đđ» PERIODD đđ»
He chose sides and it wasn't Taylor's.
Scott bruschetta tried to force Taylor to stay at BMLG by offering her a deal that made her âearn backâ her albums over a period of 10 years on a 1 for 1 basis - 1 new album for the masters of 1 of her original albums, but only if he felt like it, the legalese in the contract has escape language that you could literally drive a truck through, not to mention that there was no indication that she would own the masters to any of her new albums thereby creating an indentured situation where Taylor would have to keep working to âearn backâ the art she created in perpetuity. At the same time he was ânegotiatingâ this with Taylor he was publicly shopping the company around, and given the terms of the contract there was no guarantee that Taylor would ever own her work so she left and went somewhere where she owned what she created. Scott knew and still knows that BMLG is worth shit without Taylorâs albums, he never offered to sell her her masters because no one in their right mind would buy BMLG without Taylor or her masters and he had already lost Taylor so there was no way he was selling the masters. In an act of complete revenge and greed he sold the company to a despicable rat who has wanted to get his slimy rat hands on Taylor and her work for years. Taylor was fucked over by these men in the name of power and greed, and now they are trying to turn it all back in her. Get the fuck off. Yâall have been called out for being greedy and self serving and acting out because your power has been challenged. Yâall ainât shit and I hope you choke on your millions.
And hereâs even worse. Scott donated in support of Marsha Blackburn. The anti-woman, anti-feminist, and anti-lgbt chick Taylor wrote a whole post about, condemning her choices and âappallingâ voting history. It isnât like him fucking Taylor over is the only bad thing heâs done. Heâs proven to be questionable.
âI cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values.â
And now Big Machine is in the hands of someone who's shareholder is aiding in the genocide in Yemen right now. We arenât overreacting when we say they are horrible.
ITâS GETTING WORSE! OMG!
So weâve noticed how theyâve begun to change certain details on the streaming sites. Those with iTunes accounts have noted the stylization of reputation was changed to Reputation. That I Knew You Were Trouble. is now I Knew You Were Trouble. RED became Red. Theyâre also changing the genres of her Country albums to Pop. Now this wouldnât be too big of an issue but then this happened...
People who bought Taylorâs albums, suddenly couldnât access their downloads anymore. Reporting this issue revealed this...
[X]
This is theft. By claiming certain things have in the album have been changed, they wonât give people back the music people bought and downloaded. This asshole is trying to get people to re-purchase the albums so he can start cashing in on Taylorâs work already.
This makes my blood boil.
First Rolling Stone Charts are out and according to them both ME! and YNTCD peaked at #1. You can learn more about Rolling Stoneâs new charts HERE. (July 3rd 2019)
the thing that makes me most mad is that so many people are like âif taylor wanted her masters so badly, why didnât she just put up?â as if she couldnât cut a $100 million check tomorrow without even blinking if she wanted to
But why is Scooter having Taylors music such a big deal? Like I get that for her it is since they are products of her and all, but why, in the scheme of things, but, shouldn't Taylor have expected something like this would eventually happen?
it isnât that sheâs mad about the sale - she said that she made peace with the fact that Scott was going to sell her catalog, as much as she wished it was different. itâs that it was to scooter, who engineered so much of her torment.
I was expected Universal or Warner Music to won bid. Scooter not on my list.
This hits different now
