Wow it’s been a while...

Walking on the days of September makes me all kinds of soft. It’s like walking on a load of memories... of restart and ending... and recalibration. It’s the start  of a new life- well at least for me. September of 2018 made me feel so alive- I’ve lost, I’ve cried, I somehow gained, but I never felt chosen. I am nowhere... and that still contributed to a much better me. Life hasn’t been that great since then. I was put to cross the thinnest whole of a needle. The universe forced me to change, maybe back to my own self. But the change unravelled so much more of me. I had a new job....jobs i mean -- 3 this year. It was my trial and error year, but it sure did made me tough as hell. I’ve never been this tough in my whole life. I’m trying to conquer a recurring anxiety, i’m focusing on my self improvement, I’m meditating, I’m prioritizing my worth, and most of all, I’m finally getting better. In all terms of life, I guess. I’m now detaching from my comfort zone, I’m slowly getting back. I’m starting to go on spontaneous trips, and doing unplanned things, seeing a lot of friends, doing art again, writing again, reading again, catching up and watching films again, finally had the courage to listen to a different genre. There’s a little bit of damaged nix left though. There are still the ones that are engraved on my very soul, a trauma i cannot omit. A hole I cannot ever fix. I’m broken but it’s okay. As long as I don’t do shit to other people. Then maybe, maybe it’s okay. Right?

I’m with a different person now. Way different from the person I was with the past few years... Thinking of how far we’ve come makes me tearful and really happy. She’s been with me ever since I got my feet back on the ground this time last year. She is a friend - my best friend. And she made sure she got me every time I fall back down or held high too much. She made sure she is there for me. I’m writing this note because I’m listening to a band... which is her favorite when she’s really young. And listening to it makes me wonder----- how did we ever find each other. In a sea of people I found my soulmate. I know deep down...I think she might be it....
