Hi again, as I said in my first post I'd like to start talking about my OCs, however to begin talking about them I need to reveal some general information about their story.
I'll probably make two posts about the general information and then start talking about each one individually, both posts will probably be made today.

The main piece of information about them that will affect the story and its development is the fact that they are all vampire hunters.
Occupation: Vampire hunters
(This doesn't prevent them from having another profession as long as it doesn't affect their career as hunters, but I'll probably address that better in another post)
By the way, from here on I'll discuss the organization they work for and how it functions.
β±// ππ―π€ππ«π¦π·ππ±π¦π¬π«
This organization is an older "religious" institution; it's not known exactly when or where it originated, but theories suggest it likely originated in the Middle Ages, during the witch hunts (15th-18th centuries), where initially it was an entity that sought only to hunt women caught practicing witchcraft, all while claiming to be acting on God's will. After all, as they proclaimed themselves:
"We are the divine archangels, those who freed the world from such pagan impurities."
However, everything changed during the blood moon. No one knows for sure what happened that night, only that after that everything changed. The creator and leader of these churches confirmed and proclaimed to all that the existence of vampires was real, and that they were demons brought from hell to destroy those who wanted to spread the word of the divine lord.
And he had brought proof, but that will be discussed later.
And after that... everything changed.

The Organization has become an institution dedicated to hunting vampires, but still maintains the mantle of religion and the belief that they are the ones who cleansed the world of vampires intact. However, the religious aspect itself has become a disguise to avoid being discovered by civilians and to keep their true identity hidden from the world.
The institution has grown and gained considerable strength over the years, not only in terms of hunters but also in its religious power (after all, they still present themselves as a church), which further helps them conceal their true objectives. In a total of 24 countries, there are two organization facilities, one being a real church to divert public attention from the second facility, which at first glance appears to be simply some kind of orphanage somewhat isolated from civilization.
But when the service ends, the hunt begins. (take the catchphrases)

One important thing to mention is that there isn't just one type of hunter; in reality, there are around two types:
. Created Hunters (Venatores creata est) β as the name suggests, these are hunters created by the institution. You can only be considered a created hunter if you spent your childhood being trained and indoctrinated by the organization (preferably from age seven or younger).
. Chosen Hunters (Electi venatores) β Hunters who have sworn eternal loyalty to the institution, not necessarily having been created by it, but there is still a greater preference if the hunter already has a certain connection with the church. There are usually more of these than created hunters. By the way, to be a created hunter, you must join between the ages of 17 and 24, and from then on serve the church indefinitely (or for as long as the church allows).
I will discuss created hunters in more detail from here on, but if you want to know more about chosen hunters, don't hesitate to ask!

Speaking more about the hunters created, there is a long doctrine and training, and not only that, but also entire divisions and hierarchies within a single type, even if in the end only six survive... but that's a topic for another time! Now, let's talk about the divisions and their functions (and also going from most important to least important):
. Dominatus Venandi β The division of leaders, and this is where the leaders of a division are created and trained. They are usually the most exemplary and loyal members of the entire organization.
. Messores Coccinei β These are the field hunters, usually those with the best control and physical skills. They are also usually sent on the most risky and difficult missions. In fact, it's the only division that manages to survive two per generation.
. Auxilium Noctis β The division of snipers/elite marksmen. Nobody really knows how to describe the hunters of this division, but they are usually the quietest and don't tend to attract much attention. Auxilium Vincula β This is more of a subdivision, but it's still important to mention. This division is the trap division, used to capture vampires who, after being captured, usually become research subjects for the organization.
. Angeli Vermiculi β The field medic division. They are considered the least important because they don't have as much physical training, and the most difficult part is the continuous study of medicine. They are often considered the most "disposable" in the eyes of the organization.
An important rule that all divisions follow: All divisions must have around 30 hunters, boys or girls, but only the best should survive.
Now talking about training and doctrines: No one knows exactly how or what happens during training. Only those highest in the hierarchy have control over what happens within the organization.
Some who have tried to denounce the organization claim that various physical and mental abuses occur there, but there is never really complete proof, and it doesn't help that most of those who have tried to denounce it mysteriously disappear. And the media doesn't seem very interested; as they say, the organization has eyes and ears everywhere, and anything that could affect it simply disappears.

Now, let's talk about one of the Organization's oldest and longest-running projects: The Yamakari Family Project.
This project is practically the reason all divisions exist, like a large experiment that occurs from generation to generation. It works like this:
Each division must have only one survivor (except for Messores Coccinei, which is the only one where a pair must survive), and these survivors from each organization are then sent to a country with a high concentration of vampires. The family is then housed in one of the mansions belonging to the church.
Generations are decided when a hunter turns fourteen, and until then must be the only one alive. In this way, they and other survivors usually form the new generation of the Yamakari family. In fact, there are three families per generation:
One entirely female family, another entirely male family, and the last one that usually mixes three boys and three girls. After all, the Yamakari family is composed entirely of six members, each belonging to a different division and even a different facility.
Normally, survivors who manage to become members of the Yamakari family are the ones who are constantly monitored by the organization, and there are certain obligations and rules that the family must follow. But compared to the freedom they had inside the facility, there's a huge difference.
After leaving the facility and being sent to a proper home, their studies are also changed to take place in a normal schoolβwell, not exactly normal, but rather one that tends to have a large concentration of vampires or other supernatural beings, the most well-known being Ryoutei High School Academy. Which, according to the organization's observations, shows a large concentration of vampires.

To begin, what are the caretakers? Simply put, they function as the servants or butlers of each Yamakari family.
But there's a small detail: the servants aren't human, but rather vampires. To explain further, they are vampires who have renounced their own race, being exiled from the demonic realm and forbidden from having any connection with vampire families or any other supernatural being.
Being close to a caretaker will also make you an exile, so vampires stay well away from any of them. However, there are only three official caretakers of the Organization:
. Sra. Kiyohime β Responsible for the female family of the Yamari project.
. Yanomami β Caretaker of the male family of the Yamakari project.
. Kage β Responsible for the intersex family of the Yamakari project.
(But it's important to keep in mind that the most important character for the lore here will be Mrs. Kiyohime.)
Their job is to take care of the Yamakari family and ensure there are no problems or breaches of family rules. They are responsible for observing and sending the results to the organization. They must also ensure that no problems hinder the project and "get rid" of any inconvenience to the family.
They follow the project from the beginning, where they are introduced to the new generation and members, caring for the family for fourteen years until the generational change. They repeat the same path from generation to generation.
Otherwise, they act like true butlers, albeit somewhat bizarre ones.

Even though hunting vampires isn't exactly a legal profession according to the government (after all, the government doesn't even know vampires exist), you can still build a stable career as a hunter, mainly thanks to the rewards given to hunters. Rewards vary depending on the hunter's level and the mission level, but it usually works like this:
Beginner Hunters: $500 - $1,500
Apprentice Hunters: $1,500 - $2,500
Official Hunter: $4,800 - $8,800
Veteran Hunter: $5,800 - $10,800
But as I said before, it depends on the vampire, the mission, how the mission went, and the damage caused, so rewards can increase or decrease depending on the circumstances. Even the hunters who are created (although very few, since only 18 actually operate in each generation) usually earn twice as much as the chosen ones, but circumstances still play a role.

Wow, this was longer than I thought it would be. But honestly, I'm happy with the result.
And a warning: This post is just a general introduction to the history and the organization itself, so please forgive me if any information is left out or incomplete. Also, some information (like the names of the divisions) is open to change.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me, I'll be happy to answer any questions.
