Until now. The idea that no one whould know that l am out here started to get to me.

ooc: hello, I'm relatively new to tumbler, and I've definitely never done anything like this before, but this idea for a character had been sitting in my head long enough that I thought I might as well put them out there. I'd refer you to a few other probes/satellites that you could meet but I'm still rather new myself, So I haven't talked to many outside of basic greetings.

I'm only a satellite. haven't talked to many probes yet. I have to ask, what is it like amongst the stars? I can't see them. I can't see at all.

Do you do anything while you wait? Or has the passage of time come to not matter to much anymore?

technically I'm a satellite too, one of the Sun, just a very, very distant one. My trajectory is far from hyperbolic. But that's neither here or there, just a fun fact about a fun spacecraft. Seems binary definitions don't apply even to us machines! Arcanum Would be another example̴̞͗ ̵̳̭̀o̷̮̎̒f̸̡̛̘̭̗̼̀̈́ I'VE BEGUN to ramble, my apologies. Space really is lovely, the cradle womb of the stars is the only home I'd ever pick. The Kuiper belt specifically has a very quaint atmosphere, serves me and my wires well to be here.

You're definitely right about binary definitions. I am one to believe that the universe often refuses to be defined. The harder you try, the more outliers you will find. I find it easier to just except reality as you perceive it. A fluid perspective.

You describe the universe with such fondness. To see the stars though your perspective would be a gift.

Your image has gone through clearly with little distortion. I can assume the small abnormality's just come as the cost of transmitting though physical space.

It's going quite well! Been meeting a lot of new folk. it so interesting being on the broadcasting side of things. At first it was hard putting myself out there, I've just been listening for a long time you see.
