[ Like for a starter! I havenât managed to rp much on here, but Iâd really like to do some more! ]
Edel looked up from her tiny tree at the girl coming in. She smiled at the customer, who appeared to be a girl a bit younger then herself. She stopped snipping the leaves for a moment, turned, and bowed slightly to the girl. âHello Miss!â The girl seemed to be glowing a bit, and the florist immediately thought it was her flowers. After all, what else is there to admire? She glanced down at the Magnolia bonsai. âAre you a fan of bonsai? You seemed quite interested in it from the window.â Edel had gone back to fixing it up. âThis one isnât for sale, but I do have more that are in lovely shape.âÂ
It wasnât the bonsai that had her so captivated. But, well.. the bonsai was rather impressive. It must take a delicate maiden, much like herself, to raise such a magnificent bonsai!Â
âA-ah, no! It was you !! Your angelic existence that brought me to this store on this fateful day!â The plants surrounding the two were admittedly beautiful, but so was this girl. âThe plants are amazinâ too, but the most amazing thing here is you!â Smiling brightly and blushing a red that put crimson to shame, sheâd squeaked out an, âMy name is Eruna!âÂ
âOh maiden, please tell me yours!â
In short, of all that had transpired, Eruna had taken a liking to the girl and would like to know more about her.Â
Hearing that, Edel almost cut off the branch of the tiny tree she was manicuring, but managed to evade attack on her little plant. Of course, her ears were as red as some of the flowers behind her. âU-um...thank you...â her voice puttered off, as she had no idea how to respond to a compliment like that. It wasnât the first time people commented on her looks, but somehow, this younger girl, who appeared to be in high school had her stuttering like she was a school girl herself.Â
âM-my name is Edelweiss,â She let her hair hide her face, attempting to cover up her blush. âI-if thatâs too strange to pronounce, m-most people in Japan just call me Edel anyways.â Edel tucked a strand of her (surprisingly not braided) butterscotch hair behind her ear.Â
âA-are there any flowers youâd like to know about? Iâm the owner of the shop.âÂ

He nodded slightly, âOkayâŠ.Good for the soul?â His head tilts slightly and the words came out in a nearly silent voice. A moment later they would be at an ice cream shop, the woman looking at the menu with delight sparked a tiny smile on his dimmed face. ââŠI like strawberries and bananas in the ice creamâŠâ
âThat sounds great!â She ordered it for them both in cups to go, and smiled at the small boy. After paying, she handed him his treat. âThe shop is just down this way.â Edelâs whole face lit up as soon as she took a bite into her dessert. âHow is the ice cream?âÂ

Edelâs whole face was about as red as the geraniums she was standing next to. She was an easily flustered person as it was, but the person standing in front of her managed to do it three times as easily. Actually, he didnât even have to speak. âU-umâŠâ She took the broom and grabbed a dustpan, and tried to deny his offer. A customer didnât need to help her, the owner of the shop, clean up. Besides, someone as pretty as him didnât need to help her.
Edelâs eyes widened. She didnâtâŠsay that out loud, did she? Her face couldnât be closer the the flowers hue than it was right now. âI-Iâm sorry, I didnât mean to say that out loud!â She hoped he wouldnât think that she figured he was lazy. Oh, why did she have to get flustered so easily?
To say that Kin was confused was an understatement. If she said anything out loud that would be at all embarrassing, it was much too quiet for him to hear it. Keeping his smile on his face, he shook his head to reassure the other. âIâm not offended, no harm done.â He put up his hands, as if to show that there were no physical wounds on his body after a mere comment.
Putting down his hands and slipping them into his coat pockets, he noticed the geraniums next to the girl and could not help but to chuckle. She was as red as the geraniums. It took every fiber in Kinâs body not to wrap his arms around this girl and tell her how adorable she was. Taking a deep breath, Kin pointed at the flowers beside the girl. âDo you grow all of these flowers yourself?â
Edelâs eyeâs were the size of dinner plates, and she took a deep breath. She needed to calm down. Her favorite actor was in front of her, and she couldnât keep embarrassing herself. I mean, he probably met lots of fans a day, but...she had to keep herself under control. Hearing him state that he wasnât offended did help though, and she smiled slightly.Â
Finishing sweeping the contents into her dust pan, she deposited the soil back into the bag, fumbling with it again when her spoke ones more.Â
âU-um, yes! Iâm the only one who works here...I mean, there used to be someone else, but he moved, so I do everything myself...â She smiled absently, looking fondly at the plants around her. âI think itâs nice to run a shop with something that makes me people, and flowers often make people smile.â Edel dusted the dirt off the apron on her skirt, and looked up at the actor in front of her. âW-Would you like some?â
Edel sighed. Today had been a slow day, and she was starting to get tired as well. She decided to, in her time, give a little extra care to some of her flowers. After all, they wouldnât stay looking healthy and pretty if she ignored them. She watered all of her plants as soon as she got up, but, of course, that wasnât all they needed. Her bonsai, in particular, needed an excessive amount of care.Â
She was trimming a tiny Magnolia tree when she heard the sound of hands hitting her window. She jumped slightly, turning, only to see someone with their hands pressed against the glass and staring atâŠher? No, they had to be staring at her flowers. Perhaps this woman was a fan of Magnoliaâs? She met some people who were fond of them before, but the other girls eyes were practically sparkling. Edel lifted her hand, and waved slightly, for sure looking a bit awkward, but smiling anyways.Â
The girl continued her odd display of fondness?Â
âAck!â The angel not only turned and saw her, but waved also! What could she do but to clasp her hands together and squeal?
âUwah! S-so cute!! Beautiful! Angelic!!â  She gushed, unaware of if she could actually be heard on the other side of the glass or not. It must have been fate that brought her down this road today. The one that brought her to this tiny shop, wherein the angel dwelled. Should she enter, or not? Decisions were always so hard!      Well, if she were to enter then she could speak with the maiden in private; away from the prying eyes of strangers who, more likely than not, have labled her as âoddâ at best. But she couldnât move; not yet. Forcing her hands apart, sheâd waved. Now going to the door, sheâd finally made her entrance. She cracked the door and was amazed at all the pretty plants as sheâd entered; having only taken notice of the girl at first. âSheâs⊠the prettiest flower of all!!â

Speeding through, Eruna payed no attention to most of the attractions of the town. All she wanted was to get home quickly. Forced out by her mother, sheâd bought a few groceries and tried racing back. That was the case, at least until sheâd spotted her.
Lightly dropping her two grocery bags onto the concrete, sheâd come to the glass window of the little flower shop; pressing her palms and face against the translucent glass to get a better view. She stared through, mouth agape, at the girl who lied on the other side.Â
âAn angel! The spawn of a goddess! ?â Her eyes sparkled excitedly, though she had begun to draw a few passerbyerâs attention. A bit embarrassed, sheâd calmed down; though the enthusiastic gleam never left her eyes. Her breath began to quicken.
Oh God..!! What if the angel turned and saw her !? What happens then ?!

"Oh, I have many flowers in lilac and lavender!" She quieted down a bit, blushing slightly. "Lilacs and Lavender, of course, but also things like Hydrangeas." Â
{â} â âThatâs wonderful,â she exclaimed quietly as she chuckled a bit at Edelâs excited outbursts. âAre hydrangeas pretty?âÂ
Of course all flowers were pretty but to be honest Celia was at a loss when it came to flowers.Â
âHey, why donât we head over right now?âÂ
Edelâs eyes widened in excitement, the prospect of showing her friend the flowers she loved making her smile. âOh, Iâd love to. I-if you donât mind, of course...â The girl wasnât only doing it to please her, right? âA-and hydrangeas are one of my old friends favorites. They have lovely colors.â She sat down the book, deciding that she knew too much of the information in it for it to be worth the cost. âI-Itâs right around the corner, only about a block away from here.â
Swans Need Make-up, Too
Edel could feel the artist getting annoyed, and released her breath. Sheâd have to calm down. âY-yes. My friend is a model, and heâs been asking me to try this for a while now. Itâs my first time.â Edel would have to try and ignore the crowd and the noise, or sheâd grow even more anxious.Â
"Modelling isnât for everyone. Are you sure youâve got the stuff for it?" Rude on varying degrees, but Odele didnât think anyone who couldnât take a little criticism to be worth her time. If people didnât have a back bone, little would guarantee them the ability to breeze through life.
The colour began to gently blend out into the girls skin, darker and lighter tones added. Her lips were painted over with body paint, such a delicate shade of baby blue the colour was hardly even there.
"If you canât do it this one time, donât try it again."
Edel stuttered a bit, not quite sure how to respond to such a blunt comment. âI-I suppose weâll both know whether or not I have the stuff for it after today, h-huh.â Anyhow, she was excited to see the result of the makeup. She didnât usually feel so pretty, after all. âB-but at the very least, I really donât want to disappoint my friend. He put his faith in me, after all.â
Catâs Paw: What is your museâs reaction to gore?
[ Edel is a very timid person! She does not react well to gore, even in films and such. Blood makes her queasy, and she's terrified of hospitals. If she were to see someone covered in blood, she'd either freak out and attempt to help, if possible, or pass out. The latter would be really bad for her health, though! Thanks for asking! ]
