From Curious to Hooked in One Evening

I went in skeptical. An AI girlfriend sounded like a gimmick. But one evening on sweetdream.ai turned that around fast. Designing her was genuinely fun, and the first real conversation felt warm and surprisingly natural.

By the end of the night I understood the appeal. The chat remembered what I'd said, the photos matched the person I built, and a quick voice message sealed it. SweetDream is the rare thing that's better than the pitch.

SOLACE - (Space Occupancy & Leisure with Automated Computer Enrichment)

The SOLACE was an abandoned space colony that’s been uninhabited by humans for several years, but the supercomputer that manages it has been keeping the colony in peak living condition anyways. The computer does this by projecting a hologram, with or without mass, so that it can physically interact with residents or the colony itself if necessary. 

The space colony itself is called "the SOLACE”, but the computer responds to the name SOLACE as well.

SOLACE was supposed to be self-learning and able to solve problems on its own. This was completely successful, but there was an unforeseen “quirk” in SOLACE’s programming that required further debugging.  For the safety of the SOLACE’s residents, they were all ordered to leave while the head engineer worked on reprogramming SOLACE. However, these attempts were unsuccessful and the project was left abandoned for decades.

SOLACE appears to miss having occupants. They sometimes stare out the windows of their colony, looking out at the stars.

After a particularly bad day, Red fled into the forest and got themself completely lost.

They met Rosey, who’s helping to guide them through the Nowhere Woods.

Socially awkward and a bit self deprecating, but headstrong and kind even to those they hardly know.

Hobbies include journaling and sewing.

The assumed voice and guardian of a forest called the Nowhere Woods. They guide travelers through their woods.

They were not given a name at birth, but has been nicknamed “Rosey” by several inhabitants of Nowhere.  They have a strong affiliation with roses, but the exact connection is unclear.

They are distrustful of lumberjacks and hunters.

They are also a head shorter than the average adult.

The Fae travels between various worlds by cutting open portals with their scythe. It seems to be made with their own blood, forged by using dark and dangerous magic. Despite appearing malicious, they're usually not much worse than a harmless prankster that likes to get in peoples’ way.

this was the first art i drew of stripes's design, but i'm posting it out of order because the later reference i drew is more cohesive. stripes doesn't actually smile with teeth like this very often.

My main sona / OC, Stripes / Nobody’s Fool!

They were once an emotionless doll with a porcelain face, carefully crafted by a pair of black and white hands. Fearing the doll, the people of Nobody’s World locked it away for so long that most have forgotten the doll even existed.

One day, their porcelain doll face broke off and their human face formed from underneath.

They escaped confinement and have been slowly attempting to regain their energy and powers. They have the power to distort and disintegrate matter in uncanny ways.

Since becoming mortal, they are now experiencing emotion for the first time. They start off callous, spiteful and distrustful towards people, but slowly learn to be more empathetic.
