Say what you want about the V6 Alpha, plenty are, but you can NOT say this wasn't made by fans of VtM. Some of the decisions they made, even if they're very different, require such deep level systems knowledge from obscure splats that it's impossible for them to have not come from a VtM super nerd. Take the new Corruption Discipline for instance. This Discipline is a funky mix of powers from Daimoinon, as in, the fucking Baali discipline, and Path of Corruption, which was previously a Path of Akhu, aka Settite Sorcery. So people who aren't VtM super nerds look at that Discipline and go "ahhh why do the Ministry get this, and why can the Lasombra take it optionally? They're ruining the Ministry and the Lasombra!!!" And it's like... no, actually, these are crazy pulls from deep VtM lore. The Ministry gets it because it's derived from one of their own Blood Sorcery Paths, which they used to get in V20 and Revised, and the Lasombra have it as an optional discipline as a reference to the obscure Angelis Ater Bloodline, which was a mix of Lasombra and Baali blood. But you'd have to actually be a VtM super nerd to see that. So it's flying over a lot of people's heads just how dedicated and well read this team is in VtM. You can disagree with the mechanical choices, sure, but this is not a team that doesn't understand the game.

like I mean this very seriously as writing advice. the character should experience events and make decisions that make them different at the end of the story. they should be changed. they do not have to be improved.

they can get worse. they can make decisions of an increasingly terrible nature. they can stop taking risks on kindness. they can discover how much they can get away with. they can find religion, or abandon it, with negative effects on their moral creed. the character has to develop. the character does not have to grow.

My VtM players really loved an NPC coterie I came up with and paid for me to make loumon emotes of them!

We have Bebe the Nosferatu Harpy, who loves kawaiicore aesthetics and looks almost normal as long as she doesn't take off her mask and wig. The mask design is Quite Literal to how her actual face looks. She's an infiltration specialist, with expertise in Obfuscate, Stealth and Larceny.

We have Lux the Lasombra antitribu, also Bebe's girlfriend. She likes needle daggers and dancing like a spider in her haven. Since leaving the Sabbat she's been the Camarilla court's top tier intel source and strategist, and her grasp of Obtenebration makes her a force for field control.

And then Viktor, a cheerful Brujah. He owns a 24/h fitness gym called The Forge and teaches Tai Chi and Historial European Martial Arts at night (it's actually become a hangout spot for the PC Toreador, Ventrue and Brujah). A highly disciplined martial artist, he rarely lets the Brujah clan curse get the better of him - but when he does, it's spectacular.

They play World of Warcraft together.

The brujah catch a lot of flack in the vtm community and I see a lot of ppl trying to explain their appeal by going "ohhh they were the philosopher kings they're revolutionaries etc etc" but I think this guy gets it
