Nocturne Disease ver 0.1 is now available:
A silly animation.
Will the demo be updated over time?
Absolutely!
The demo is still actively being improved. It has already received a few minor visual updates and bug fixes, and I plan to continue refining the script and adding more visual effects over time.
And as always, if you run into any new bugs, feel free to let me know. I really appreciate the extra help ^^.
Which part of development has been the hardest so far?
So far, every part of development has had its own challenges. But, as long as i can find a guide or a tutorial that points me in the right direction, it's mostly a matter of patience and learning.
If i had to pick the most frustrating part, though, it would definitely be bug fixing. Having to replay the same scene over and over again while testing changes or tracking down a bug can be almost unbearable sometimes. TwT
Is this your first game?
No, technically i've made another game before this one, although it's not a project i'm particularly proud of.
It started as a personal challenge to see if i could make a game in just 20 days, and the result was "Red thread". It was also a horror game, centered around themes of morbid love.
Looking back, i think the final result was a bit rough, but i genuinely had fun making it. More importantly, it taught me a lot about RPG Maker and helped me understand many of its features.
I'm not dead!
The actual plot planning has finally begun. đ
The story has officially reached stage two, where the disturbing events begin.
Small develop updates:
Lately, i've been focusing mostly on the game's visuals, even though the script is what i should really be working on.
I don't know why, but every time i sit down to write, i feel completely overwhelmed. For some reason, my brain just refuses to engage with it.
I don't know what to do.
Small develop updates:
All Caspar sprites and illustrations have been updated with correct hair and face.
It's been a while. Uh?

Is for the youtube character model.
You tube channel idea!
Lately, i've been considering using my secondary YouTube account to create a channel centered around the game, where i could talk about the development process, make speedpaints of the characters, and discuss them in general.
I even already have a 3D avatar made with VRoid to make everything feel a little more interactive.
For now it's just an idea. I'm not really someone who likes exposing myself too much online, but maybe it could help me vent a little creatively while also helping the project grow.
Let me know if you think it would be a good idea.
How long have you been working on this game?
The âNocturne Diseaseâ project, not exactly in its current form but already very close to it, started taking shape in my mind about a year ago. However, the character of âCasparâ actually originated in 2022 as part of a different horror project with a different plot.
The first version of the story was simply called âBlack Oceanâ and was made in RenâPy rather than RPG Maker, but it only stayed on Itch.io for a short time before i decided to remove it.
I still have some screenshots from that period, however.
