Once the other turned around to speak to him he was surprised, it probably was a bit rude to stare. He just didn't realize after being mesmerized by the hamsters. It looked like he was close to them if they were on his shoulders without running away, they even had their own group name, it made him happy to see how much he cared for them.

"Gonta sorry for staring.. but hamsters so cute.... Gonta no can look away!" When he held up one of the Four Dark Devas of Destruction Gonta's worried expression quickly changed to a bright smile, they were even cuter up close, it was nice to see another person liking animals as much as he did. "Hello, hamster. How are you?" After a short silence he seemed to have heard what the hamster told him. "Hamster tell Gonta about day... How cute!"

He wished he could see all of them, but perhaps they were shy compared to this one, so just seeing Cham-P and being able to talk with him already made his day. "Gonta catched bug today... You like bugs? Gonta love to show." He saw this as an opportunity to show him the small grasshopper he caught and put in the bug box he was carrying home with him.

“…Gonta not good with scary story. It not nice to scare lady.. But Gonta try his best.” He didn’t know much about telling scary stories, he hoped he could tell something that would impress her. “Gonta once heard story about people kidnapped by something in sky. Sky can’t really do that.. right…?” Thinking about this story got him confused.. He seemed to be lost in thought now.

"Gonta understand.. Not gentlemanly to do." He followed him towards the abandoned building, climbing over the fence they had to pass first. Nothing would happen as long he was there to protect him.

They reached the front of the building and Gonta stopped before opening the door. "Kokichi... You go after Gonta! Will look if safe for you.. Cuz Gonta gentleman he look out for friend first."

» Amami had been walking around the grounds, admiring the gardens. He noticed one of his classmates when a butterfly decided to land on his nose. “ Ah, Gonta … look! ” he exclaimed, though it was a little hushed since he didn’t want it to fly away.

Gonta was looking through the gardens when he suddenly heard Amami call out his name, he turned around and smiled brightly when he saw the butterfly who just landed on the top of his nose. Did this mean he liked bugs? It got him excited to know that. "Oh...! Gonta glad you like bugs." He carefully came closer so he wouldn't scare the butterfly away. "Butterfly tell Gonta he likes you."
