idk maybe the point of me being on this planet is to love and write and go to the beach and sea the sunset and rest in the comfort of knowing I still have time to see a lot of them during my lifetime on each new day. maybe that’s enough. there are books and movies and songs and poetry and people who are nice. it makes up for a lot of the sorrow and grief and pain

there are toddlers and journaling and dogs and cats and bird and turtles and elephants. there are these shoes i saw at an exhibit a while ago on the the history of Peru (inca culture) and they are thousands of years old and they still hold the shape of the feet of the person who walked in them. we are here, it lasts for just a glimpse, and we cry and we suffer but we make art and tell each other jokes and hold each other when we’re sad to try and make up for the pain and to create something that outlived us. something like shoes. for comfort. for warmth. yeah the world can be cruel and unfair but it doesn’t change the fact that you are here, that you deserve to be here, and that there are people out there who care, even if you don’t always see it.
