Welles' Brothers.

Sons of the (in)famous Raúl Welles.

The kind of brothers who always have each other back. Jackie is the older and protective, but it’s usually Vito who kept him grounded. Anyone who sees them like this could never imagine the hostility they grew up with.

Their bond began poisoned, since Raúl treated his affairs like trophies, carelessly displaying each one. They grew up believing the other was a threat, a reminder, a stain brought in by a man who cared for no one. Raúl’s presence was a constant threat, a storm that lashed out at anyone close. Unfortunately even cruelty can be mistaken as warmth when it's all they know.

Everything changed when Vito’s mother ran away, leaving him behind. Mamá Welles opened her door to him without hesitation, offering warmth that his own mother was never able to give. And for the first time, Jackie and Vito stood on the same side of the chaos.

Over time, Jackie became Vito’s best friend and loudest supporter, even taught him how to defend himself and those lessons carried him toward his dream of becoming a boxer.

Through Raúl's chaos, Valentinos’ legacy, and the weight of city pressing down on them, the brothers’ bond held. They had to. It was all they had.

But Night City takes everything in the end and that was the day cyberpsychosis finally broke Vito.
