╰┈➤He mentally laughed seeing how his subtle attempt at making a move was met with the other rolling their eyes at him. She was definitely different, that’s for sure. It was a nice change of pace from the other females he had met along his way. It only meant Hanako would be someone he’d have to consider for something serious for once.
Not that he minded, maybe something would come out of this, Maybe something that would change him for the better. Nevertheless, he sighed and stretched a bit before rubbing the back of his neck.
“Honestly, the thought of wanting to be free and run off is on my mind. I just want to go somewhere quiet, to start a new life where no one knows me. Ever felt like that?”
He stared up the sky silently, the sun slowly setting in the distance. There had been so much on his shoulders from the start. Again, as he often said; he had no choice.
All he wanted was something simple- but that simple turned into a myriad of trials and suffering. A chain of events that led him to become the person he was today.
“Sometimes, you’re just thrown into something you never wanted to be a part of. Something you didn’t have a choice in. The choice being made for you. It sucks, and it only brings about your own self destruction.”
His face fell and his eyes stared at the ground, serious solemn expression on his features. Sora of course, didn’t realize he was making such an expression since he normally didn’t display any sort of emotions.
Today however, his usual stoic face had decided to reflect his inner most feelings of turmoil.
Leaning back, Hanako closed her eyes once again as she listened to him speak his mind. And to be fair? The thought had crossed her mind. A few times in fact.
To be free of her past, to leave it all behind and just-- Begin anew. A truly wonderful and enticing thought that even now still managed to grab a hold of her. How great it would be, huh..?
Amethyst eyes opened and stared above at the sky as well, her voice coming out quiet. “I’ve thought about it before.” She answered simply before allowing Sora to continue.
The following thoughts the poured forth hit oddly enough-- rather close to home. She bit back a bitter chuckle, refraining from bringing up the words Fate and Destiny into the conversation. Though, she didn’t voice it, the thought lingered in her head.
That Fate truly didn’t give a damn about who was being used and the effects after their part was done.
Hanako glanced over at the other, seeing his head hang low. An expression she didn’t expect to see adorning the brunet’s features. It was rather unexpected, and he probably didn’t even realize that he was making such a face.
But.. it made her feel something for the other. Concern. Genuine concern that she thought was only reserved for the other’s twin. But yet-- here she was, staring into those hollow and tired eyes of his, feeling that wave of worry for Sora.
“You’d be surprised to hear that there are more people than you think that feel that way...” Hanako would say, sitting up in her spot and bringing her arms to rest on her knees. She stared off ahead, taking in a breath before continuing. “It especially doesn’t help that once they were done with you, or you no longer served the purpose they intended to use you for, they tossed you aside with nothing to catch you.”
“Suddenly, everything that seemed to define you no longer do, and you’re left trying to figure out... Who you are after...”
