maisy couldn’t help but to chuckle at the thought of a tanned nolan. his features were what made him unique, so to think of anything else was kind of entertaining. “definitely, you should try it.” she said, another chuckle escaping her lips as she looked over at nolan as he spoke. “oh yes, it must be very interesting learning about this crappy country… plus, if you only study america’s perspective from history, is it really learning something?” she asked, not wanting to get into an argument, but shrugged her shoulders as she let the subject continue. “it’s easy, we should go some time. i’ll teach you and hopefully, i’ll get some laughs out if you fall.” she said with a small chuckle again, as she looked at nolan, resting her head on her hand and her elbow on the grass, as she looked over at nolan. “he’s fine. and i’m fine too. my brother’s just an idiot and he has hurt joey before… you know joey right? and i don’t want him to do it again, but i think he regrets doing what he did.” she said, shaking her head slowly as she let out a sigh. “relationships are stupid.” she finished off, as she let herself lie back down and look at the sky. “that sounds like a fun. you have a bohemian life, matthews. much more than i do.” she said with a sigh, smiling. “how is noel? i heard a lot went down at the cabin, but i never heard what happened indeed.” she asked, raising an eyebrow - she guessed she was just as nosy as nolan was.
Nolan rolled his eyes at the idea of skating with Maisy, as fun as it sounded he knew he’d be flat on his ass without even getting on the floor. “That’d be downright embarrassing, you’d get the greatest show.” He laughed, leaning back on both his elbows. Nolan nodded his head, listening to Maisy’s situation with her brother and Joey. It had to be tough, he knew a little bit how it could be. “Relationships are stupid.” He repeated with a heavy sigh. One day, he knew he’d find someone that didn’t make it feel so stupid, at least his hopeless romantic brain hoped. Another laugh at Maisy’s comment about his bohemian life, it was a good way to put it, and he didn’t complain. He liked being an arts student. Nolan let out a long sigh as she asked about Noel and the cabin situation. He wasn’t sure if it was something he could go blabbering on about to just anyone, but Maisy and him were too close for him not to vent at least a little bit. “Noel’s fine, she always seems to be.” He nodded his head with a small smile, “But, so Nico kissed, well, Celine, and Noel saw the whole thing.” Nolan shrugged his shoulders, “Which to me, was crazy.” He turned to Maisy and chuckled, “I believe, they made up though, which I am happy about, for Noel’s sake. I love her too much to see her so sad.”
