I don't even care atp. I do not center men in my life. It is not a goal of mine to have a man. I've made peace with all of it. True. I think the issue is when it's done multiple times. Youre only hurting yourself at that point. Sometimes you have to learn to move on without a proper goodbye or explanation.
Learning to move on without a proper goodbye or explanation is an unhealthy coping mechanism. In our current society, it is unfortunately inevitable because although you may desire closure, you cannot force someone to give it to you. I just think that we have to create space to allow to people feel. It is not easy to move on. You ended becoming a robot trying to constantly mask your emotions. That is not healthy.
We don't want to live in a world where we are all "moving on" and "getting over it" without any grace to express and feel a wide range of emotions.

We have to go to therapy to heal all of the years of trauma that being strong has gotten us. We're self-medicating all of the times when we had to pretend to be nonchalant. We are finding it hard to relate to other people because there is so much shame in relating to other people.
Yes, you can practice the law of detachment. There are a lot of books, blogs, and courses that inform you of emotional intelligence. But none of that negates FEELINGS.
It is okay to feel. It is okay to feel. IT IS OKAY TO FEEL.
Ignoring your feelings. Criticizing your feelings. Negating your feelings doesn't have to be PAR FOR THE COURSE.
