a post: liberal feminism is bullshit. women can’t make their own decisions bc they’ve been brainwashed by the patriarchy. kink is disgusting and abusive. heterosexual sex is inherently oppressive. all men are garbage and women should not date them. bisexual women who choose to date men are complicit in their own oppression and abuse. age gaps are inherently predatory as the man is always the older party and even if the woman is in her 30s, 40s, or even 50s, she cannot be consenting to an older man. all consent is invalid as it exists in a patriarchal and violent society. except consent to vanilla sex between lesbians, as that is the only non-oppressive sex.

I agree with most of this post, but it feels unfair to call them “terf dogwhistles” when they’re general radfem dogwhistles and examples of why radfem ideology is gross regardless of whether or not it’s trans inclusive. Because there are in fact trans radfems who will instead extend their exclusion to other groups like bi people or claim that no man is ever oppressed, and yell at anyone who brings up men of color, trans men, disabled men, etc.

Of course a lot of these posts do end up being by terfs, and I am so rarely surprised at this point when something sounds off and I check and they are, but we need to remember terfs aren’t the only ones that are gross about these things. All exclusionary radfems focus their feminism on tearing down at least one other group and we should be more wary of them.

hey honestly this is the only good addition i’ve gotten on this post and you’re correct, while when i originally made this post i was steamed as heck about people who say “fuck terfs” also reblogging directly from terfs who happened to make points they agree with, the larger issue of trans-inclusive radfem rhetoric being popular and trans radfems being on the rise is also terrifying!
