MORE EYES! HAHAHA. Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen. Since I did Gojo I figured naturally Geto would be next. I was wrong.
Did a little something different with the outline this time. Instead of using one of the pencil brushes I just did an ink/paint one. I...don't know how I feel about it? I think I like the pencil brush better. But that's mainly what these eyes are for, for experimenting with different things.
Also, instead of giving him a black eyebrow like Yuiji has, I just mixed in some black hair instead.
Another eye picture. This time we have Shota Aizawa.
I'm still working on the shading, trying to figure out what I can change any such. Like I said, I love the paintery effect but there's always something I'm not like...pleased with?
Of course it's only my second time trying it so it's going to take a bit to get used to and figure things out.
Heads up though, I'm probably going to do more character eyes. I. Am. Obsessed. I might do Sukuna next, but don't hold me to it. I almost always draw without a plan. 8D

I've been interested in drawing eyes lately. Problem is, I suck at it. Even now I hate the shape of Gojo's eye, but I'm actually proud of everything else? I was looking at different blending techniques and Krita, so I thought I'd apply what I learned.
I really like things not being smooth. Being kind of...painterly? Paintly?
No matter how I feel at the end of the day, LOOK AT THAT FUCKING IRIS? I AM PROUD OF THAT IRIS.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
Cinnabun the Buneary. One of the newer rescues of Radiant Glade. He is one of the many other occupants who have been taken away from back-yard breeders, and now lives permanently in the rehabilitation center.
While Eli is unsure of how it happened, be it a birth defect or do to his living conditions, Cinnabun's right ear is severely damaged. While other Buneary's ears can contract and spring forward to let out powerful attacks, Cinnabun's is crumpled and cannot extend. It also is easy for it to become infected and must be cleaned, medicated, and packed daily.
Taking a small break from ponies to expand more on the inhabitants of the Radiant Glade: Pokemon Preservation and Rehabilitation center. Cinnabun was the second ever Pokemon I ever designed for it.

Chrysalis threw back her head, stretching her neck to try and relieve some of the building tension in her body. Not do to anything stressful of course! The Crystal Empire was probably one of the most peaceful places to live! Her subjects were never lacking, and love was given freely to her and her children.
No. The stress was from the meeting her guards were currently leading her toward. An Emissary from the Solar Empire had been sent for the annual peace treaty talks, this one a supposed favorite of Queen Celestia herself.
Usually, a few words would be traded, and the same contracts would be looked over. Agreements that nothing need change and they'd be on their way and Chrysalis would start her daily trot around the streets, greeting her subjects and seeing if there was anything anyone needed help with.
But something felt...different this time. It made her exoskeleton itch, and her wings vibrate anxiously.
She didn't have time to ponder though. The back doors leading to her throne room were opened and she could hear her head guard's clear voice, loud so all could hear.
"Presenting her most gracious majesty! The Queen Chrysalis de'Megasoma!"
A screenshot redraw I'd stopped working on months ago. Maybe even last year? I just didn't like how Shinso turned out, and I haven't felt like redrawing him yet. I might try again later.
I've learned a bit more about Krita since then so maybe I can do a better one next time. xD
I decided to go ahead and draw and finish up Rarity. I really didn't want to deal with Rainbow's hair again. OTL
This AU Rarity is a gem-eyed pony from the Crystal Empire. Her parents own a mining company, and, looking to expand their business, her father took a trip to Ponyville. She was still just a little filly, but being daddy's little girl she convinced him to take her with him.
Rarity, even young, has a high affinity for gemstones. So while her father was busy, she put her horn to the ground and started wandering away. What she found wasn't what she expected though. Instead of ground and rock, something that hid their beautiful treasures deep inside, she saw a pile of glistening gemstones. She barely took a step toward the mesmerizing treasure before a vicious growl tore her attention away.
It only took a moment before her face burst with intense pain. The bundle of magic nerves in one of her crystal eyes exploded, sending searing pain through her body. The pain itself blinded her completely, and the growls from the animal that attacked her were drowned out by her own shrill screaming.
When her body hit the ground she rolled a few times before curling herself into a ball, bringing her hooves up to try and keep more attacks from happening.
No more came. The only other sound was a sharp thud and the shrill whine of a dog. Rarity managed to tilt her head enough to see the bleary orange image of her savior.
"And if'n I see ya varments around here again, that will be the last time!"
I haven't redesigned all of the mane 6 for my AU, only RD, Fluttershy, and now Rarity. They've all gone through a few different versions before I decided what I liked best. Rarity originally had a little unicorn beard, but I eventually decided against it. Then I remembered how much I used to love gem-eyed ponies so I thought I could incorporate that into her design instead. It was only when I was sketching this up that I decided to give her a veil. Then I thought...but why a veil?
Then I thought that a damaged gem eye would be interesting, and how I would make it work. Most gem-eyed ponies are born in the Crystal Empire, where love magic overflows. Ponies born influenced by the excess of magic often develop extra magic nerves in their eyes, the leaking magic crystallizes into gems. They function just like regular eyes, but if they're scratched or cracked, magic will slowly leak out. It takes just a few days of rest and the cracks will seal up and the eye will go back to normal. However, if the magic bundle just under the crystal is ruptured, there's a chance the magic will blow back and hurt the pony, as well as cause permanent sight loss in said eye.
If I could change one thing it would be making the line of her cutie mark going down her leg less straight and more zigzag.

Rainbow Dash pre-accident. While Fluttershy's sub-genre is a Yellow Canary, Rainbow's is a Blue Jay. The next one I plan on doing is either post-accident Rainbow or Rarity's design.
One day I'll draw something I feel worthy of showing more than one person again.

Okay but for anyone who legit wants to know how to calculate it correctly:
The elbow joint on average rests a couple inches higher than the navel, so if you measure how long the distance is from the middle of the shoulder to that point then you have the length of the upper and fore arms!
So if anyone’s wondering about legs too, the simplest rule of thumb is that the length from the top of the leg to the knee is equal to the distance between the top of the leg and the bottom of the pectorals:
And I wanna stress that when i say “top of the leg” i’m not talking about the crotch (please don’t flag me tumblr it’s an anatomical term) i’m talking about the point where the femur connects to the pelvis, which is higher up on the hips:

So yeah if you use that measurement when using this technique you should get fairly realistically proportioned legs:
But remember! messing with proportions is an important and fun part of character design! Know the rules first so you can then break them however you please!

Gotta reblog because my likes are chaotic and if I lose this I'll never find it.
I just want to draw digital and not feel like it's crap. xD So I just settled with tradition and let it be.
This is Misako Aizawa, the mother of Shota Aizawa. She was created with @eraserisms for our RPs. She's a top lawyer, whose quirk always her to speed read books in a matter of minutes, and she's excellent at retaining that knowledge.
Her style of dress, as well as her piercings, are a result of her rebellion against her strict Korean mother. Anything and everything to disappoint them and mess up any potential arranged marriages who were looking for a proper, traditional wife who was meek and listened.
She's only ever been in love once and that was with Shota's father, Souta Aizawa. The tattoo on her left arm is actually just an S for Souta, and the other half of a heart. Because he's her other half. u//u
One time, a rival lawyer asked her if she wasn't ashamed of the way she dressed for court. She told them without missing a beat that she had nothing to be ashamed of.
The only time she ever gets visibly hostile is if anyone outside her family calls her by her first name, or anything other than Mrs. Aizawa. Her husband gave her that name!
"That's Mrs. AIZAWA to you, and you will put respect on it."
The grown-up version of my HeartGold Nuzlocke Character. She's the one I decided to reuse for the Pokemon Readabilitation story that I was working on. I'd like to post more about both stories on here if I ever get the motivation to do more.
Her main story was that she was born with a heart disease and was supposed to be sent to a private school for Pokemon grooming, while her twin brother was supposed to go into training so the family could continue to afford her medication. She made the decision that if she wasn't going to have a long life she wanted to at least have a memorable one, so she switched with her brother on the day he was supposed to set off, since he really didn't want to do it anyway.
I'll go more into it if I post more.
Another picture I forgot to post. Aggron and Tyranitar going after each other. It was made because one of my friends really loves Aggron and I always tease him that Tyranitar is superior. So I made him this picture back when I was still doing watercolor (I need to pick it up again). I plan on having two more done that shows them in their first and second stages that lead up to this. :3
