Is there really a point in trying to use different pronouns if those you're around never use them, and, when reminded, brushing it off like it's not important? It just kind of annoys me and I've been feeling kind of down lately which isn't great x thank you

gynesexual is actually a bad term bc of fetishistic shit. there is another word that means the same thing and no bad connotation!! its finsexual/finromantic (fin stands for feminine-in-nature, so its for people who are attracted to woman/woman aligned nb people)

Hi! Sorry I was scrolling through your blog and i noticed someone ask how someone can be nb and a lesbian, well theres actually a sexuality called gynesexual which is basically that, but people can identify however they want to (:

Ah rad! People can def identify as lesbians if they’re feminine-aligned nonbinary too, which might be a helpful id for people because it’s more commonly known / a bigger community / some people associate the prefix gyne with genitals even though that’s not what it means its just used in things like gynecology so it might bring up trauma discomfort

but this is also good to know because this could be helpful for people who feel dysphoric identifying as lesbians / want a more inclusive or specific term / people who are nonbinary but not female-aligned / etc. so thank you!!

Your mental illness doesn’t make your identity null. Your identity being tied with your mental illness doesn’t make it any less valid.

So here’s to all the genderqueers with anxiety disorders, with depression, with PTSD, with eating disorders, with personality disorders, with dissociative disorders, with Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, with Bipolar disorder.
