tw: mentions of eye gouging and suicide
description of each cause of death and how they were found.
bda 1 - kamimura - cause of death: blunt-force trauma, similar to the canon ch1, his body is found in the dining hall by the trio of wada, tsuno and isono.
bda 2 - hiroaki - cause of death: overdose of cyanide pills, after the events of ice fairy, hiroaki is taken to the medbay for a little longer than canon. a couple more events happen until tsuno and ojima return to the medbay to find hiroaki unresponsive and without a pulse.
bda 3 - tsuno - cause of death: eating poisoned cake - after singing happy birthday to watari, the group feasts on some food made for the party. but little did they know that one of the cakes was spiked with poison. and due to some suspicious handing of the food, tsuno ended up eating a slice of the poisoned cake, dying in front of the group and leaving them devastated.
bda 4 - hama - cause of death: slashed in stomach and bled out, also after singing, harada and chiba requested to go look for hama so that he didn't miss anymore of the party. they end up finding his body in the storage room just seconds after tsuno's collapse. (also as a bonus detail, hama prayed and cried for his mom as he bled out like in canon, with his parting words being him praying for chiba and harada to get out of the killing game safely.)
bda 5 - sasaki - cause of death: stabbed and body brutalized (eyes gouged and beheaded), as apart of okazaki's plan, she creates a blackout for the others which causes temporary chaos. yanagi, still hoping to look for sasaki to reconcile looks in the dark room. he finds her, but is devastated to find out that she has been brutalized before he could get the chance to speak to her again.
bonus - sawa - cause of death: crushed, during the investigation, sawa goes missing. harada eventually finds her crushed under a surface, sending him into hysterics. similar to how she kept kamimura's tongue in canon, okazaki keeps sasaki's eyes and a tooth from sawa for herself.
bda 6 - chiba - cause of death: stabbed in back/through front torso, I do admit ch5 is prob the weakest chapter structurely but wada and watari find her body in the pool trying to round the group back up after some chaos with some of the motives effects.
post game death - harada - cause of death: suicide by hanging, tbh I don't blame him after all that killing game put him through. oh and about yukino, after finding his suicide note and adjusting to her irrepairable grief, their was only one thing lingering in her mind. revenge. against those who were responsible for putting him through that game.
