{{stranger}}
“Hide me, please!”
He hasn’t picked this house or this person in particular, but boy is he in a hurry to get somewhere, anywhere, where there is a wall and a door between him and the outside world. Sylvie’s got maybe a minute till he rounds the street corner and he’s spotted.
“I promise, I’m not anyone dangerous, just–! I just saw my ex and let’s just say uh– it ended badly and I might be in serious danger if he finds me. Please!”
WHEN HE FIRST MOVED to his own place Aubrey’s friends constantly hounded the danseur to be careful. ‘ Don’t let strangers in.’ ‘Always lock your doors.’ ‘Look before you open.’ It was almost as if they didn’t trust Aubrey. Yet, as he stared at this stranger scream in his face, those words of wisdom vibrated through his skull.
“ That’s…exactly what someone dangerous would say, ” he pointed out. Please, he pleaded. It was the please that did it. Aqua-green eyes evaluated the Desperation and Need in those eyes. Man, he must be a REAL idiot. Aubrey held the door open more. “ ….Against better judgment, sure. Come in. ”
