Inspired by @nonupeipe-serendipity trying to steal The Ironclad from @vakuu, we bring you:

The Providence

A hypothetical/AU version of Ironclad that rather than being bound to Vakuu’s will, is Nonupeipe’s champion. No longer engaging in vicious combat or feral self-bloodletting, The Providence focuses on defenses, free cards, and Replay. I can’t draw people for shit, but I imagine that The Providence, appearance wise, would still have his helmet, but modified to look less…intimidating. He’d also have his clothes and armor look more simple yet fancy, and most importantly, still functional, including his lovely phrog scarf ofc. Additionally, he’d go back to his old Heavy Blade, as Darv managed to find someone to fix it.

His Strike/Defend count would be swapped, going to 4 Strikes and 5 Defends. Bash would actually be replaced with a different attack!

Slam:

Rarity: Basic

Type: Attack

Effect(s): Deal 8 damage. Gain 5 Block.

Art: The Providence shoulder-checking someone HARD.

But what about the starter relic? The Providence obviously can’t have Burning Blood, considering that Vakuu’s probably the reason for that. Well, it would have the same effect, but rather than burning blood, it would be:

Effect(s): At the end of combat, heal 6 HP.

What were you up to while the Blight was going on? When the Spire was still headed by the Corrupt Heart and all. Must have gotten very boring being stuck in one place for a literal millennium, if not more.

"Ah, it was, it was. But one needed to do what one needs to survive! I had to go into hiding, much like the rest of us. It was unfortunate for me, none knew of my existence after a while which meant what desperate visitors that could find me soon stopped altogether."

"A shame really, I do enjoy entertaining guests. But that is in the past now, and I am more than happy where I am now!"

Orobas mentioned that the Ancients had holidays and festivals in their names in the days before Neow blew everything up. Did you have anything like that?

"Oh yes! Many a feast of festivities were heard, beautiful adornments shared in hopes of my blessings, tributes of beauty and grace in hopes of favor for better down the line. A time of sharing fortune with all, with me, with each other. It truly was a sight to behold, and so beautiful to watch all come to fruition. I do miss those days of joy and visitors, even if my picks of who would come in were much more stingy than they are now."

"As for Neow.... hm. I cannot say I have any thoughts I wish to voice on her. The choice has been made. We all must live with it. Especially since she continues to send her puppets so high up this way, and they are the only visitors I have had in a millenia."
