I normally try to avoid confrontation, but I feel this is something that should be addressed so that everyone is made aware. The account “Sam Spruell Fans” on Instagram and TikTok have been reposting edits and content created by other fans without providing proper credit, including some of my own work. Many people in this community put significant time and effort into sourcing photos, creating edits, and producing videos, so it is disappointing and frustrating to see that work reposted without giving acknowledgment. What is especially concerning is the addition of watermarks to content that was neither created nor originally shared by that account. Giving proper credit to creators is important, not only out of respect for the work involved, but also to support the individuals who contribute to the fandom. I sincerely hope the user behind this account recognizes the importance of acknowledging creators going forward…
