Did you know no two freckles are identical? They are unique as snowflakes. I *may* have a slight obsession with freckles. I spent so many years hating them, and then all of a sudden I couldn't imagine my face without them, which I suppose is good because I'm bloody well covered in them. When I see them on other people I get a small tingly feeling of connection, like we're in this little club. It is silly, but I don't care. Love your little marks because they are so, so lovely. #fbf to my first attempt at a character cake wayyyy back in 2009 when baking professionally was still just a baby dream that sounded insane. So long ago it feels and how far I've come. I was so proud of that Yoshi, seeing him completed I knew that my dream wasn't as crazy as people were saying it was. I knew then that I had something worth fighting for. #cakeordie this is it.
