"Your words, not mine. Either way, it was wrong. I’m surprised you haven’t pressed charges."
She stared slightly to the left of Abby, she wasn’t comfortable out here and she felt like panic might be visible in her eyes. “I was with someone,” She barely admitted, she couldn’t help but feel defensive, like Abby thought she was an idiot.Â
"Believe me, darling. I would have had I not been convinced out of it."
"Liar." She had called Raime out on the mild doe-eye that she was sporting. Had it been Brielle, she might have given the other brunette a graceful exit, but Abby wasn't her cousin and though parts of her have softened under the positive influence of a certain individual, she would too easily reverted back to her former self in the face of contempt. Raime, who had punched her in the face, certainly belonged in that category. "Look, all I'm saying is not to have a panic attack unless you know someone is trained to save you from it later. Know your exits, Marseilles. Now are you good, or should I call you a paramedic?"Â
"You’ve done this before, yes?"
Vanity is a full time job, darling. I never did understand why wanting to look your best had so much judgement involved in it.Â
Gosh, no. He’s my cousin, actually.Â
Ouu, awkward. Is he hot?
I forgot how much I hate the constant sunshine…
Not about the sun, darilng?
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.

"I’ll bare that in mind, I thought white would be a good choice.seen as it goes well with my black skirt" she chuckled. Dani hardly ever wore white and the one time she decided to it got a coffee stain on it, just her luck. "Well I’m originally from here, decided to move to Deering with my ex but it didn’t quite work out so I’ve moved back here." Now that Dani had moved back to L.A she really hoped that she could get things back on track, no more moving away, especially not for a guy. "Do you prefer it here?"Â
"Perhaps one day you'll be good to wear white again, darling. It's all a matter of practise." Listening in, Abby couldn't help but wonder - the words with an ex ringing in her head. She was happy, happier than she's been in a very long time, but did that mean what she had with Jude wasn't going to end? "Why did you move with him to Deering in the first place," she enquired. Evidentially, the brunette was fishing for disparities. "I do, so far. It's much livelier than Deering, that for sure. But I suppose anything new and shiny would give that impression. Ask me again in a couple months, darling. I'll probably have a more accurate answer to that then."
Yeah, I just have to talk to Donny first.Â
Donny...your new beau?

Laken: An old friend.
Abby: ...who is?
"Oh, how could I have been so stupid? Of course you dab rather then rub. I guess the stress is playing with my mind right now." She sighed and then looked at the girl, she recognized her from somewhere but wasn’t sure where and then it clicked "hey, you lived in Deering right? Fancy bumping into you here" She smiled "are you visiting or have you moved?"Â
"If you're stressed, don't wear white; it'll only cause yourself to fluster over it when people ruin it - like now." It was an odd thought, but it was almost as though Abby were upset for the fabric. A raised eyebrow. "Yeah, I was from Deering, darling," she answered hesitantly. When she had left the small town, she was hoping for a clean start. But the notion seemed almost difficult now that everyone appeared to cross the state lines with her. "Moved. Did you move from Deering too?"
"Okay…" Raime said, backing away from Abby and closer to sturdier ground, she wouldn’t feel comfortable until she could dig her toes into the sand. "Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a regular occurrence, but I am sorry for punching you. It was wrong." I still loved doing it, though, Raime kept that thought to herself. “I think the sea is beautiful and the beach is fun. I have this fear—trying to face it.” She didn’t feel like explaining anything about herself, but especially not to Abby.Â
"...why are you apologizing for something you felt so much enjoyment in?" Abby let out an exhale of relief as Raime put space between the two of them. "By yourself? With no insurance policy? If you're going to freak out like that, you may as well bring someone to pull you out of the waters afterwards."Â
I don’t know how to change it. New place and all.Â
Why not call someone in to fix it?Â
Great, Apple launched yet another overpriced device. But watching people go crazy to pay $900 for a phone is entertaining, I guess.
I can see how much of an enthusiast you are about it. Ever consider becoming their spokesperson?Â

Laken: My dear Abby, I think you are gravely mistaken.
Abby: I'm sorry, who are you again?
