✨Hello! My name is Noree, I am an artist (traditional and digital), I make games in RPG Maker MZ! I'm a beginner in this world of "gamedevs" yet I try to do my best. ✨
Hiii I absolutely love your game but i really want to complete it. I'm sorry if this question has already been answered but how do you find the door ingredient? I've been trying to find it for the past hour but I couldn't! Please help me, I am one achievement away from 100% the game!
Hiya!! TYSM for playing my game and for wanting to get all the content! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪
To obtain the door wood, you must close all the sliding doors in the temple. Once they are all closed, the ingredient will be awarded to you! And with it, the achievement!! ✩°。⋆⸜(˙꒳˙ )
The pretty liar princess and the cute blind prince are so cutee!!! ✨🌕🐺
✨ I hope to draw more of them; they've become comfort characters now, and honestly, their game has become an inspiration for me to perhaps try new playstyles in the future. As an artist who aspires to a storybook style and stories, this game was my canonical event. ✨
My RPG maker cooking game is finally out! A fun game where
play as Fonsermónique, a goat lady who has to prepare unique
dishes for her ancient tired "husband" dragon. 🍜
Fonsermónique's Culinary Diary is a short, linear narrative game where cooking becomes a bridge to the soul. As you prepare different recipes, you'll gather feedback that accompanies Fonsermónique on her personal journey, while you explore the temple in search of ingredients and of the dragon, gradually uncovering the peculiar relationship that binds them through small moments connected to the past.

Hi!! I hope you’re having a good day and happy new year. I adore your games, and the way you draw (everything is so beautiful that aiwndnbfiwndbdj), and I’m working on a game as a mini-project to get to know RPG Maker a bit better. The thing is that I’m not very good at pixel art, and I wanted to make the sprites drawn in some program like Krita or Clip Studio, but I don’t know how. I think some of your games have sprites that are drawn, right? Could you explain to me how you made them, in a way that the program recognizes them, please? I thought of you when I saw that I couldn’t find anything, and I feel a bit stuck :( Idk which size of canvas I should use, or how to make Rpg maker recognize the character even if they aren't drawn in pixel art :(
Hello!! Thank you so much!!! ✨
The truth is that RPG Maker allows you to use normal sprites, meaning without pixel art, and the trick to getting the program to read them is how you save the file!
I will leave so much text above! (⸝⸝> ᴗ•⸝⸝) ✨
In the "img/characters" folder, you must save the characters with the "$" symbol at the beginning so that it reads them as independent characters. Example: "$-Namefile"
Regarding the size of each sprite, I recommend that it be slightly larger than or equal to the size of the tile set slot on the map. This is to avoid fun bugs where the character crosses collisions. ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
For my games, I used a wide variety of sizes for the character sheets, but if you want to define your own, I recommend first creating a small version of the character, then cropping it to the desired size, and then using a calculator to do the following calculation:
x = Size of the character frame
a = Result of the overall sprite sheet.
x × 3 = a
And then the same for the height.
y = Height of the character frame
b = result of the overall sprite sheet.
y × 4 = b
If my answer is too technical, here are some sprite sheet guides I used during the development of my two games, "Memento Morin" and "Aeterna Nativitatis Noctibus" ^^
The left one it's for the sprite type of ANN like it's no pixel art, and the right one it's like Memento Morin's that is full pixel art!
Also, if you want to use the pixel art again I highly recommend u to use medibang instead krita or other drawing app, bc medibang has also tools that helps you to do and cute pixel art! Promise! ^^
Anyway, if you found my explanation difficult to understand, I recommend this video where they explain it better. ^^
I recently found out your art and your games. The passion you have for your characters and the worlds you create is soo wonderful!! Your games, specially, have a lot of personalization. Both in text, map, and voices. How did you do it? Or well, how did you learn? I would appreaciate a few tips if you can :3
Hiya!! Omg!! Thank you so much! Honestly, all the knowledge I have about creating and developing my games comes from constant practice every time I start a new project. Even now, I’m still learning new things, and I’m really passionate about that constant learning process. It truly makes me very happy that you noticed it and took the time to tell me. <33
As for tips, I definitely recommend—if you’re still very much a beginner with the game engine you’re going to use—watching tutorials on YouTube, or asking for help and looking for support on specialized forums. In the case of RPG Maker, I recommend using the official RPG Maker forum; there are genuinely very kind people there who will help you if you have any questions. Likewise, you can also choose to ask me directly; I’m someone who truly enjoys teaching others how to use RPG Maker—it’s a lot of fun. (.◜◡◝)
As for the texts, maps, and voices, well, I achieved that thanks to plugins/extensions for the engine made by members of the community: some are free to use, and others are paid to use. ✧。◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜✧*。
I highly recommend the VisuStella plugins; they are extremely useful! Also, here’s a very important tip: if you’re looking for a specific plugin for a specific feature, I recommend searching in English, Japanese, and Korean. These languages have a lot of plugin libraries and galleries for RPG Maker.
Thank you for being interested in my games and art!! I really appreciate it!! Have a nice, lovely day <33 (´▽`ʃƪ)♡
