I love pretending to be normal in social settings bc it’s like how long will it take until they find out a screw is absolutely loose. how long can I keep this going for

it's a shame you can't Cool, Silent, and Mysterious your way to being very close to people. we are unfortunately going to have to embarrass ourselves for this
eating pastries is so humiliating cause you'll be having the time of your life having it and then when you're finished you look down and you're covered in flakes and sugardust like fuuuck now everyone is going to know i'm a messy pastry whore
something genuinely insane about going somewhere and getting to feel “i had some of the worst years of my life here” and “i was loved here, once” simultaneously.
the structure rots and the plants reclaim. But i remember
an old drunk man told me to enjoy my life and have fun because I’m only 24 and I have so many years and so much life ahead of me and then he went “and you know what? in ten years when you’re 34 you’ll still be young and have your whole life ahead of you” and it was really comforting to me
take me to art museums and make out with me

If life is a never ending loop of dirty dishes and laundry then that means life is a never ending loop of home cooked meals and comfy clean clothes
Everybody talks about cutting ppl off but nobody really talks about the grief that comes with having to stand firm on that decision knowing it’s not what you wanted but what was necessary for your well-being.
literally grief.
Romanticizing your life sounds so stupid but it will help you cope. Taking extra time to make a yummie coffee in the morning, sitting outide observing the wind in the trees, writing poems, going to old book stores, watching your childhood favourite movies, listening to romantic jazz, writing in a coffee shop, making sure you have moody lighting in your room, putting on asmr rooms as a background noise while you work. It's not a solution, but it makes things a bit better.
I am not meant for casual. I was born for soul crushing devotion.
but no one can ever know cause that's embarrassing
finding it necessary to remind everyone that it's seasonal. i promise you it's seasonal. everyone i know is out of their minds right now in some way or another. it's seasonal.
many things that are now comfortable were once scary. new things will be scary but overtime you’ll find that they’re really not so bad.
not sure if this will make sense to anyone besides me but: the antidote to negativity is not positivity, its warmth
positivity tells a sad person that there is no reason to be sad. warmth asks the sad person if they want to go get some ice cream
Been a moment since I saw this. Glad it’s back on my dash when I needed it.
