I was thinking about the little prince and i realized him and the Professor look so similar!! I wonder if that's why im so fond of the gentleman...
Anyways i also believe they would truly form a pleasant bond! A curious child and a man of academics... They would have such a lovely time (◕ᴗ◕✿)
wild having moral OCD while also believing in the inherent goodness of humanity/the necessity for restorative justice, because it’s like: yeah, people are a product of their circumstances. very rarely is anyone truly incapable of change and there’s no such thing as a person who is fundamentally evil. except for me of course.

Of course there's someone... Or rather two people missing, but i'll get into that soon.
Im obsessed with my evil Hershel... ALSO SORRY FOR TEXT/IF IT'S WORDED WRONG i have a hard time typing and keeping my thoughts straight but i hope it's understandable.
Anyways something i did not touch upon is the fact that despite saying awful shit Layton still cares about his public presence, he definetly lacks moral compass but etiquette is still important to him even when he breaks his own "rules" very often and says whatever cruel bullshit...
BUT almost always it's in this polite condescending tone, like he got the idea so twisted to the point that he believes as long as he says it with eloquence it doesnt matter, he's still technically a gentleman!! But anyways yeah MIGHT come back to fix some stuff because i noticed i always repeat words (i have a small vocabulary what can i say)
I know this is not art or nor related to Layton but i need to share my beautiful daughter.

Been wanting to make art about this but since im a bit of a chud and suck at symbolism i'll outright say it...
Herzman's upbringing and backstory is supposed to mirror Layton's in some sort of way, NOT exactly the same obviously but eerily similar, as if a different alteration that caused a completely and more catastrophic outcome.
For example they have similar traits that i have not talked about, most pl fans know that Layton carries a piece of each person he's loved in some way or other.
Well Herzman does the same!! But instead of these being healthy qualities they're kinda.... Uh... Not... Exceptionally.... GOOD...
Ok where im going is that Herzman is pretty fucked up and expect incoming family angst LOL
