Let Chekhov cook
The Critters. 2026 redoodle.
Two Years Later. It's been a rollarcoaster of a time since i originally doodled over the Beatles' cartoon versions as at the time my art skills were extremely limited. And to commemorate that, i went back and did another doodle of the Prefab Four. Keeping most of the original janky ass porportions because funni points.
This Smiling Critters AU was such a delight to work on, as it was my first ever AU i'd done for a major fandom. And it was where my art journey began. I'm considering revisiting The Critters AU. As a nice little treat from time to time. Doing shinanigans and fun little skits via doodles.

Happy 10 Years To "What Once Was"
Even though it technically released on April 29th, it dropped on YT a day early on the 28th of April, 2016.
10 years of What Once Was.
Rest easy boys.
The Celestial Toymaker & The Tenth Planet
Something that i thought about thats ironically funny is that TCT and TTP are like inverses of one another in terms of how they are missing pieces from the BBC archive.
If you think about it - The Celestial Toymaker is missing Episodes 1, 2, & 3, with the final episode surviving.
The Tenth Planet has Episodes 1, 2, & 3 surviving but Episode 4, the final one is missing.
Just a funny thought of how the Toymaker gets his finale while The First Doctor's finale has been reduced to a few surviving clips and his regeneration. Leaving his era (and 2's) like a jigsaw puzzle of missing pieces needing to be found.
I made a jigsaw of your history, did you like it?

Dandy's World Fanon ID Cards
For those who are apart of the RP realm, cosplay realm, or just like neat things to look at. I've made some fanon ID cards for the Gardenview Facility based around the main-mains!
The toon logos were low res when i looked for them, so i attempted to redraw them best i could.
if there's any other toons you'd like to see themed cards made of (potentially as day passes?) let me know!

"Is something giving you the jitters? Then it might just be those damned Mitters!"
In 2008 Touille Innes & Poe Idle conceived "The Mitters" - a parody group based off of 'The Critters' in a mockumentary film titled "The Mitters; Turn Left At Greenland". With mop-top wigs, classic parody tunes and lots of debauchery the film was a hit.
Meet The Mitters!
Ron Bastardly - The Leader/"Smart" Mitter, parodying Bryan Bubbaphant - equally matching Bryan's ability for violence and anger. He was portrayed by Touille Innes in the film, who also wrote all the songs for the films soundtrack.
Prick "Poe" McCrowley - The "Cute" Mitter. Parody of Richie "Kickin" McChicken. Even though he terrified children and appealed mostly to teenagers. He was portrayed by Poe Idle in the film.
Maggie O'Macko - The "Not-So-Quiet" Mitter, a parody of Crafty O'Corn, although Maggie was very prone to violence as opposed to Crafty who was more peace-oriented. She was portrayed by Magnolia Mako in the film.
Ally Stirr - The "Lazy" Mitter, a parody of Catnap Starrkey. He was portrayed by Allister Gatwick in the film. Allister later would say the hardest part of his role was finding comfortable ways to "sleep" on his drumkit.
The Critters' reaction to the parody mockumentary
Crafty O'Corn
Crafty O'Corn was involved in the project from the beginning, she was the only who actively encouraged the wild ideas being tossed around to be made reality. She later said; "The Mitters sort of liberated me from the Critters in a way. It was the only thing I saw of those Critters television shows they made. It was actually the best, funniest and most scathing. But at the same time, it was done with the most love."
Bryan Bubbaphant
Bryan "absolutely loved" the film and adamantly refused to return the videotape and soundtrack he was given for approval. He told Innes, however, that "Get Up And Go" was too close to the Critters' "Get Back" and to be careful not to be sued by Tripp Music, owners of the Critters catalogue copyright at the time.
Catnap Starrkey
Catnap reportedly really liked the happier scenes in the film, but felt the scenes that mimicked sadder times hit too close to home in terms of accuracy. He later would formally offer Allister Gatwick a place in his All-Starr Band in late 2028.
Kickin McChicken
Kickin, who had just released his own album Mondon Town, always answered "No comment." when asked. According to Innes: "He had a dinner at some awards thing at the same table as Poe one night and Poe said it was a little frosty." It's believed he took initially offense to how he was portrayed in the film - even though everyone close to him admitted Poe had portrayed his mannerisms 100% accurately. Touille claimed that McChicken eventually changed his mind because his wife thought it was funny. McChicken furthermore warmed up to the film when he learned that Idle was from Wallasey, opposite Critterpool. According to Idle, he said: "Hey, it's okay, he's a Scouse, he's one of us!"

Long Tall Sally - EP
Long Tall Sally is the fifth CL EP release by Critland rock band The Critters and the band's first EP to include songs not previously released on an album or single in their home country of Critland.
(Although Side 1 had been released in America that April, on The Critters' Second Album, while Side 2 would be released in July on the North American album Something New.)
It was released by Marlophone in mono, with the catalogue number GEP 8913, and released in Critland on June 19th, 1994. It was also released in The United Kingdom, Spain and France
The EP includes two cover versions—the title track, and "Matchbox"—as well as two Bubbaphant-McChicken originals, "Georgy Girl" and "I'll Be On My Way", a song originally given to Piano J. Saurous and his backing band, The Dinos. Piano had released the song as the B-side of another Bubbaphant-McChicken song, "Bad to Me", which reached number 1 in Critland and number 9 in the US. In 2008, all four of the songs from the EP were included on the compilation album Vast Bastards, Volume One.
