Femme Day

Sometime ya just wake up and get hit with that feeling, ya know?

Ive generally been presenting fairly masc since I came out. I dressed pretty femme before that. what made the change? compensation? not wanting to be perceived as a girl? feeling the freedom to dress how i want? idk.

[10/23/17] green light sorry my comic is a week late!!!!  there’s been a lot going on with family and friends and schoolwork.  i did this comic a while ago, but i just finally got around to cleaning it up and posting. aint that just the way!  take this as a gentle reminder to have a dance party to melodrama to relax during midterms.  ur worth it!

[10/8/17] Pronoun Problems

My first class of the school year, I gathered my strength to introduce myself with my pronouns, at least to one person. I hadn’t really done this much before, as Im very lucky to have a lot of super cool friends who are familiar with gender neutral pronouns. That, and I’ve been wearing a pronoun pin a lot of the time. 

I don’t think my classmate was trying to be mean spirited, rather then it just not being something she was used to.

I’m still working on gaining the nerve to correct people, and to talk to teachers about it. Luckily the LGBT club at my school has been really active along with the administration to make sure teachers are well educated and trained. They have even been making changes in the online system so that you can list your preferred name. 

Still working on the outside world, but in our apartment there is just no room for gender. [sammi]

[10/1/17] the blood drive angel

i try to make it a point to give blood when i can.  my dad’s always done it and i think its a cool way to give back to other people. heck, one of my cousins is alive today because he got a blood transplant.  the lady that ended up doing the paperwork with me a few weeks ago turned out to be one of the nicest strangers ive ever met.

The First Time My Sister Used My Pronouns.

   Before school started, my sister and cousin came to stay with us during the anime convention. During their stay, my sister started using they/them pronouns for me, without me asking her directly. Previously at home It didn’t make sense for her to use them since our parents were always around.
