It is so important to me that Brooke is trans but also not in the way that I feel like I see so many other trans fems are in media. Some of us don't prescribe to the "skirt go spinny" mentality and I really wanted to represent that and the anxieties I've felt about lacking that, while simultaneously disregarding the idea that this invalidates her in any way shape or form.
I've gotten people to tell me that she's motivated them to come out, to start hrt, and a couple other things. But I really hope someday someone sees her and thinks they can start using she/her and never have to wear a dress or skirt in their life.
You can use whatever pronouns you want and present however. Do what makes you feel comfortable and like you.
