Beam of light

1. Use the Polygon Frame Tool or the Pen Tool to create a selection around the window or opening through which the sun ray will supposedly pass.

2. Create a new layer and fill the selection with the color you want for your ambient light effect. I have used the color # fff6dc but you can use the one you like the most.

3. Use the Free Transform Tool by pressing Ctrl + T and then with the right click select Distort or go to the Edit menu> Transform> Distort and distort the form as shown below. You can also use Perspective to widen the end of the shape to create the effect that light expands.

4. Softens the light beam using blurring filters. For this type of effect I like to use the rectangle blur because it is not so linear and keeps the edges a little more focused. (Gaussian blur)

5. Create a layer mask for your light beam using a linear gradient to attenuate the end of the out-of-focus shape. Reduce the opacity of the layer to the point where it seems realistic. I left it the same but you can lower the opacity to your liking.

Sunflower Rigs: Adult Female V1 (Tall, Normal and Short)

Do you find pose making difficult or time consuming? Do you wish there was an easier way to create poses? Well then this might be something for you!

The Sunflower Rigs contain controllers that will make pose making less time consuming and makes poses simpler to create. You no longer have to look for the upper eyelids and try to make them even.

You can do this by simply using “Controller Uplids”. Or if you want your sim to wink you can move the uplid of left or right with the “Uplid R/L Controller”.

You can also move the left and right eye at the same time using “Controller Eyes” (or if you want to move only left or right you can move the “Eye R/L” controllers).

Move the face? move “Controller Face”! But how about the full body! Easy, move “Controllers” (the circle around the body on the ground)!

But that’s not all! You can move the entire arm with just pressing G having selected the hand rot! Awesome right? You can do the same with the legs! (say what?!) Yes it’s possible! You simply press G while having selected the foot rot!

Pose making has never been as easy and fun! There even are rigs with different heights! Now you can make adorable couple poses with different heights! AH! It’s a dream come true!

I hope these rigs will be as useful to you as they are for me!

Let’s try something different. Together.

I typed up a huge reply to Simsdom’s “response” — and I do mean HUGE — and after I finished it I went back and reread it and realised… There was nothing in there that I didn’t already say in the first post.

Simsdom can spout as many accusations as they like directed at me, but anyone has to do is read the comments on that post from the hundreds of people in the community who have dealt with/been a victim of the person who runs Simsdom to know that nothing I said was a lie. Also, there was the proof shown clearly in the links contained in that post that this person is a liar, a bully, and doesn’t care at all about the creators in the community. Simsdom on the other hand was able to provide no proof real proof to back their claims in their response.

Instead of responding to that waste of space, this will be the last post I make on the subject for now but I updated the original post with some more little tidbits of information (all updates are clearly marked, bolded and blockquoted) and I thought we could try something else, as a community. A different tactic if you will; because trying to talk sense into the owner of Simsdom is as useless as trying to talk a fish into flying.

So, if you want to show your love for and help support the creators of this community, big and small, and you believe they have every right to decide whether they want the product of their hard work to be monetized by and shared on Simsdom; join me in making our voices heard…

Empty Worlds for all of you!

Today I bring to you an empty world save perfect for builders or whatever your little heart desires to do in there. Except for Selvadorada I bulldozed everything for you guys. I didn’t bulldoze Selvadorada just because I didn’t have enough confidence to rebuild it myself, therefore I wanted to keep everything in there. I bulldozed everything and evicted every household. This includes all of the special places and all of the apartments. The only place with items still in it are the Penthouse apartments because it won’t let you safe without an elevator and a trash can.
