Back in the 90′s, there was this very popular sitcom. You may have even heard about it, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Lots of time was spent watching re-runs of this sitcom after school.

One scene that would always hit me particularly hard was the episode in which Will’s biological father returned only to leave him by the end of it.

After his father leaves once again, Will goes on a tear about the meaning of fatherhood then he and Uncle Phil embrace.

The episode ends in a sombre mood along with a harrowing image that I would always remember.

So when I began the habit of drawing everyday a few years ago, this was one of the first illustrations I created. I hope you enjoy.
