This is the funniest thing I have ever seen. If I were a professor I would pin this to my office door.
pretty shitty how baseline human activities like singing, dancing and making art got turned into skills instead of being seen as behaviors
so now it’s like ‘the point of doing them is to get good at them’ and not ‘this is a thing humans do, the way birds sing and bees make hives’.
????? What???? Literally what is this post. Never ever did anyone think that singing was a natural thing that they had to do to survive?? And the point of activities is to get good at them??? Like knitting is an activity and the while point of knitting is to get good at it so you can knit more things. Bees need hives to live, birds sing to communicate and stuff idk. But they didn’t those things to live. Sorry ur not woke, just wrong :/
i mean this in the nicest possible way but the fact that you don’t see singing, dancing, and making art as inherent behaviors and means of expression for humans (and why they’ve arisen across virtually every culture, person, and place) is uh… really sad
even in the example of knitting, are people not allowed to do things for fun? why should the focus be on ‘knitting more things’ any moreso than the process? i don’t want to say you’ve been brainwashed by capitalism to only see yourself as a machine that has to produce in order to have value but uhhhhhhhh
Cozy Sunday morning, reading and banana bread. ☕️

Being the family’s assigned IT person is fun because everyone gets annoyed when you don’t know what to do
also they don’t try to do or teach themselves anything, becuse they can just get you to do it for them!
