Like knitting is an activity and the while point of knitting is to get good at it so you can knit more things. Bees need hives to live, birds sing to communicate and stuff idk. even in the example of knitting, are people not allowed to do things for fun? why should the focus be on ‘knitting more things’ any moreso than the process? i don’t want to say you’ve been brainwashed by capitalism to only see yourself as a machine that has to produce in order to have value but uhhhhhhhh
