Finally I got around convincing Seonu to dig out his old rotomblr account so we could use it, yay!

We are Miyuki (26 - She/Her) and Seonu (30 - He/They), and we currently reside in Sinnoh. We run a little daycare/pokesitting place while we work to get licensed to run a proper shelter~
I'm training as pokémon center nurse while Seonu is a volunteer ranger.

I'm originally from Lavaridge, in Hoenn, and I used to be a grunt for Team Magma; Seonu is from Canalave here in Sinnoh, and used to be in Team Galactic. But we're good guys now, I swear!!!

It'll be mainly simple day-to-day kind of posts, so nothing special... but I needed an excuse to rework and develop a bit these OCs and what else is better than trying to interact with other pkmn irl blogs?
Not sure how much I'll be active on here bc it depends a bit on my fixation, my free time (or lack of thereof)... and also on ideas of how to run this blog!
One day I'll draw both ocs and their mons, but as for now the trainer cards from trainercards.studio and the pfp made on meiker.io will work.

Stakes (if i understood what this means) I'd say from none to low, bc this is a simple daily life blog.

something to keep in mind i feel. Is that i dont think most schools teach you how to actually study beyond just. Reading the material.
Everything takes work. effort. technique. and self care. theres no such thing as "not cut out" unless you yourself decide you dont want it to be your life goal or passion anymore.
But, also spending some years in a team not thinking much and only following orders kind of messes up your ability to study. Or so I started to believe lmao 🤣
I'll try figuring out a better way to deal with my studies in an healthy way, instead of cramming and hoping to be able to catch up with the other trainee nurses!

Other than volunteering for the local Rangers, I do some part-time gigs here and there to earn some money, since most of our earnings with pokesitting goes to expenses.
The other day I was called in to cover a couple of shifts for a week or so at a Mart in a nearby town. Not bad, right?
Until I go there and one of the workers there put up a big fuss because he recognised me as a Galactic grunt (idk how, maybe he worked at Veilstone's mart?), and convinced the manager (who didn't know bc I'm not putting *that* on my redume) to not hire me.
Kicked up so much fuss that I think I can't even go back in that mart as a customer.
I had no expectations but, man, this was disappointing anyway.
Yeah. It sucks. Miyuki, my friend, was in Magma too but being now in Sinnoh she's able to keep it somewhat hidden. Meanwhile I have less luck.
Maybe it was only a shit coincidence, idk. I (we, bc Miyuki thinks the same) just want to start anew and have a little shelter for 'mons or a simple daycare. Making up for past mistakes, y'know?
