Hello there! My name is Professor Bellamy Amaryllis, though most people who know me call me Amy. My kid @eartheats encouraged me to make an account on here- I guess that's what all the cool kids are doing nowadays, haha!

I’m agender and intersex and use They/He pronouns- She for some specific people as well. I'm Polyam, as well, so no need to go telling my partner about seeing me out and about- I assure you she knows!

If you were a child or have been around children anytime in the last 7 years you might know me as the Wild Guy, from my TV show Professor Amaryllis’s Wild Days! While I've been off the air for a year or so it's bloomed in popularity even still- it's hard to go too far without someone knowing who I am, hah!

I'm a poison specialist (though I have an affinity for fairy types as well) and one of the overseeing professors at the Goldenrod Ecological Society, really just a fancy title for the person who makes sure all the science is ethical, reliable and well documented. It's a lot of admin and outreach work and while it keeps me busy it's quite fulfilling.

This is a personal account, so I’ll be talking more about my life than my job, so sorry if you’re looking for a blog of just pokemon facts, because this certainly is not it.

Hello!!! My name is Rabbit and I’m an adult, so be warned that there may be suggestive themes at times on this blog! I also will be doing some high stakes stuff!

I don’t interact with sentient pokemon or eebie deebies with very few and select exceptions (if you arent sure, ask!), and I’m picky about players with legendaries as well, as I have a specific cannon I’m working with!! No magic anons, crossover blogs, crack rp, or dream mail, though some peliper mail sent to amy's GES location is acceptable (within reason!! no magic anon but item things ahaha)

Amy’s a flawed character so please keep in mind that not everything he says is the objective truth! He can be biased, emotional, unprofessional and he can and will lie, though he prefers to tell half truths and avoid topics first.

Amy has a very detailed past, and he has his secrets and motives!! there’s usually at least something going on under the surface hehe so I wish you luck in trying to puzzle this man out! This character is my own personal Pepe Sylvia red string board and I enjoy playing him that way :)

I hope we can have fun together, but please please please remember that there is a person behind this blog, be nice!! or at least just not incredibly hateful. some negative asks can be fun but think before you send things please.

Ive been spending the last few days visiting with Casimir and Aracelis- they have been quite kind to let me do my work in a spare room so I am able to keep up while I am away. Still, it's interesting being here while Casi is at work. Not that i don't enjoy Lissie's company well enough, mind you. Things to get more used to, i suppose.

He has been setting up some kind of cardboard contraption in the living room for the last hour or so. I should be working but its hard not to watch. I cant quite figure out what it is supposed to be, and when I asked I would told "You'll see." Im not sure i will.

Ah, I see. Well, as much as I can I suppose. This seems much more intricate than necessary for treat delivery but I cant say that it isnt going over well. Im half surprised that the sneasel hasn't just torn through the cardboard, though. Perhaps the puzzle is more of a reward than the snack.

What is your favorite flower?

Hm, I feel like ive seen this being answered in other places lately.

I think there may have once been a time when this answer was more simple, Spider lilies or Arusutoromeria or some other flower that meant quite a lot to me, though these meanings have shifted over time. I have always had a soft spot for flowers, I suppose I still do.

Ah, but the entertaining answer is what most would prefer, no? And to that I say it's as simple as reading my last name, isn't it?

im curious professor, what led you to study poison pokemon?

Ah, thats actually a bit of a misconception. I dont study poison type pokemon specifically, I just have a personal interest in poisons, mostly naturally derived. My professiinal work focuses more about how pokemon and humans interact with the environment around us and the effect that we have on it. That could be anything from waterways to plant populations to biodiversity. I don't do much field work anymore, however.

Have you considered the pursuit of exobiology? It's truly a fascinating field of study. Just think of what all is out there! Based on what limited knowledge we have, the potential forms of life are limitless!

(plus you may have the opportunity to go to space, just saying)

I have no idea what might have given you the idea that I would want to go to space in any circumstance whatsoever. Whatever it may be I had better nip that assumption short. I can think of few things I would like less, in fact.

While one of my degrees is in Biology, I am first and foremost an ecologist, and the exobiology track in university has far less overlap than you may expect. I respect the research of my colleagues that focus their studies on things like Elgyem or Minior or even more speculative interests, however my own are far more grounded, so to speak. I am much more interested in the balance of our own ecosystems than speculating about what may or may not be on some far flung planet.

Thats not to mention the physical toll of a launch, and the idea of being trapped in such a small space without even the stability of the ground beneath you. No, I think I will stay far from all of that.

Hey why is there a phantump haunting my torterra while yes I find it funny the neighbors are starting to ask questions and the screams of the damned are making it hard to sleep

Phantump, as far as I understand, are quite curious and friendly pokemon generally. Its more than likely it may have struck up a friendship with your torterra, or could possibly be curious about the tree it carries. It is unusual for a Phantump to leave its forest, It is possible it may have gotten lost. Try setting out berries or small poemon toys to earn its trust. Even wild phantump can be quite amenable, once you have earned its trust you may well be able to simply ask it to be quieter around the times you generally sleep. If it seems distressed, however, I do recommend contacting your local rangers for evaluation and relocation.

That's not a bad idea. I'm not sure where I've put it but I'll take a look around, maybe under the couch again. If nothing else sometimes quicksilver is kind enough to lay against my back while I'm working. The radiant heat can be quite nice.

And I wish you were here as well, no night out or in quite compares. Maybe a call would be nice, while I organize some things.

She's a friend and colleague of mine who works at the Canalave City library! And as far as who we're making an offering to... A local spirit of sorts. One that we are trying to understand a bit better.

We've known each other a few years now but lately we've been getting a lot more familiar with one another~
