the future of this blog

i had a beautiful long explanation about what i’m doing and google chrome froze on me. and i’m not writing all of that again, so long story short, this blog is going on a permanent (?) hiatus and i am moving to a blog i have been working on for a couple of days. mainly because i need a break from all the star wars discourse until tlj comes out. i am tired of the parental theories and which ship is or isn’t going to be canon, i believe in reysky and finnrey and if people still want to deny it, then i no longer care. i am done with the b*n solo fandom and the hux/kylo apologism it is pointless dealing with people’s whose minds are set about those issues.  i am taking a long needed mental break from all of that.

as for this blog. i might still come back here if i see a post i really want to reblog and add my thoughts. but for the most part in a couple of days i will not be checking in as often. thank you ll for understanding and i hope to see you over there.

r*ylos when r*ylo and k*lux where listed for top ships in tumblr where more than happy to harassed LGBT+ fans, many whom were also fans of color, who were upset that ships like st*rmpilot and f*nnrey were ignored. go on about how fandom is not meant to be a “safe space” for anyone. but suddenly when lucasfilms outright states r*ylo is not happening they run to twitter crying about how lucasfilm doesn’t respect woman and gay fans (of course black fans and other minorities are still irrelevant to them) because r*ylo isn't going to be canon, you know the straight white ship. funny how suddenly you care about sjw topics and sexism when only hours before you were saying how rey is now being dressed sexier for kylo’s sake and how her purpose is to save the man and give birth to his babies. suddenly you care about female fans. suddenly you care about lgbt+ fans, but only because you get to use as shields to try and victimize r*ylo not becoming canon. .
