its okay to love your monster boyfriend/girlfriend/partner(s) even if they do bad things. it shows that you accept them for who they are. it may seem like your morals are off but if your monster partner or partners need to eat people/other monsters to survive, its a bit more acceptable—some species of monster literally cannot survive without it.

however, its also okay to ask them for boundaries, such as not feeding while youre around or not feeding on you or your friends. in any healthy relationship its important to discuss your boundaries, and thats especially true with human-nonhuman relationships.

take care of your nonhuman partners!! make sure they feel loved even when they feel like they’re inhuman/monstrous, and always acknowledge their nonhuman side while not making them feel like that’s their whole life.

if i ever do try to fix my eyes,

if i do ever go blind,

i know it’ll hurt me 

but i know that if i do

that it will be easy to memorize the way that my lily looks.

and he had to learn faces by touch. 

and i will do the same. 

it won’t take long to memorize it, because i know almost all of it already. i know how much of a comfort it is to him to have his face touched. i’ve memorized the way he looks just by touch alone, and i could know him in the dark. i could know him if he were not even himself.
