As if Ben didnât blame himself enough for what happened to his mother, now he didnât hear the end of it from his step-father. He had to take it all. Whatâs the point in arguing? Heâs so tired and his escapes from reality were only temporary because, despite the fact heâs living with Dean, his step-father is his legal guardian and always made him feel like shit. He cried himself to sleep and got nightmares most nights because of him. âI donât fucking need this. Go to bed man, youâre drunk as hell.â And as he got shouted at on the other side of his phone, Ben just cancelled the call and let out a huge groan. âAssholeâ He spoke out loud to let out some frustration, unaware anyoneâs around him.Â
Victoria was walking home from the bar with another bottle of scotch in her hand. It was half drunk but that didnât mean she couldnât see what was going on with the boy. He was upset but whoever was on the phone so she took a seat next to him without saying anything to the stranger and just held the bottle towards him.
milatorrezâ:
âOh please, pretty sure my mother laced my bottles with whiskey to get me to sleep,â she laughed, though honestly, she wasnât even joking. According to her mother, she was a banshee baby and the only thing that would soothe her was what she referred to as a âstrong baby bottleâ and some drummed music. âSo, if you want a round of shots, Victoria, then Iâm down for it?â
âNow I thought that was an old wives tale.â She joked. âIâd never say no to that.â She put an arm around her and got them to the bar for their round of shots.Â
rileyjacemillerâ:
âAlright well, my numbers on the back of here or you can find me at the tattoo parlour,â he handed a leaflet to her. âYeah, Iâve heard events donât go to plan in this town but Iâm hoping the wrongâuns take a day off,â it was a charity event for children, who would want to ruin that?Â
âOh youâre quick to give your number to girlâs huh?â She joked, taking the leaflet. âI hope so for you too. People around here are dicks but hopefully not that much of a dick.â She shrugged. Victoria also knew not to trust it.
formerpsychokillerâ:
Damon hadnât noticed the woman until he heard her voice. âHey!â He said, trying to stop her from leaving. âYou know I wasnât talking about you. Just⌠Life in general.â
âWhatâs getting you down, slugger?â She asked, leaning back in to the seat when he stopped her.
astridxkingâ:
âWow, what a nightmare,â she blew out a breath before laughing, obviously only joking. She already saw Vic as her family anyway, that would only make it official. âI canât believe youâre back.â Astrid looked towards her with a grin. âI donât even know how to start catching you up. Itâs been a wild ride, as per usual.âÂ
âOf course Iâm back. You canât keep me away for long.â She smiled at the end of it and leaned in to her. âCome on, youâll have to tell me over a drink.â

Despite her vampiric nature, Aurora liked to remain dignified at least to those that were friends so she simply wouldnât slaughter anyone in front of Victoria. There was a reason she restrained herself most days. âTravelling. Everyone seems to do that just to end up back here.â She offers a smile even though sheâs shaking her head. They would probably do well to stay away at this point but it was home for some unfortunate souls. âPlease, Victoria. I forgave you a long time ago.â Aurora admits with a smile as she pulls her in for a hug.Â
âItâs home.â She shrugged. It was the one place she could be close to her dad and it was where she had been born and raised. Thatâs why she ended up back here. Others? She couldnât justify them. âThank you.â She hugged on to her with a smile.Â
sassmaster-stefanâ:
He couldnât help but burst out into a fit of laughter when she grabbed his face. The whole thing was really comical. A coy smile curled on his lips, and then he confessed, âIâm human.â
Victoria paused for a moment while she processed that he was actually human. There was no doubt in her mind that he was telling the truth but instead of saying anything, she just leaned in and gave him a hug and pulled back. âIâm happy for you, Stefan.â
sassmaster-stefanâ:
âYou might be,â he pressed his lips together, âHow much have you had to drink?â
âNot enough apparently.â She squeezed in to the seat next to him and cupped his face in her hands and looked at him. âTell me whatâs going on or Iâll cry.â She threatened. They both knew she wouldnât cry.
leftinlavenderâ:
When Auroraâs eyes follow the question they set on a ghost from her past. Memories of their falling out at the forefront of her mind. Still, that hadnât meant she didnât worry about her all the same. âProbably not.â She confesses as she gestures away from her to signal the people to run off. âDo I want to know where youâve been off to?â
She smiled a little when she didnât have to see whatever carnage Aurora would have caused. Clearly she wasnât doing so well right now and even with their fall out, Victoria still cared a lot for the red head. âJust travelling, call it enlightenment without finding God.â She chuckled to joke. âBut I do want you to know that I am drug free now and Iâm sorry...â It was one of the topics that came up often in her rehab setting about things she did wrong while on drugs and allowing Auroraâs shop to get damaged was high on that list.
chasing-ellamaeâ:
* âHe said, will you defeat them, your demons and all the nonbelieversâŚâ She continued with a wide smile to the other girl. Ella was just happy for someone joining in with her.
âThe plans that they have made? Because one day I'll leave you, A phantom to lead you in the summer...â She closed her eyes and waited for the last part.
rileyjacemillerâ:
âIf youâre willing to organise it I could make such a thing happen. $5 a kiss?â Riley laughed, he was joking but actually, if she wanted to say yes sheâd make it happen then hell, heâd allow it because it could raise more money. âOh, cheers, I appreciate that but Iâve got it town agreed,â as she put it. âHad this plan in the making for months so Iâve already pulled all the big strings and now Iâm just tugging on the shorter ones so it all fits together.âÂ
âI could see if anyone wants to do it.â She was still partially joking but the possibility was there. âSadly not much good at other stuff but itâs good the town agreed. I just hope nothing bad happens.â It wasnât a warning from her but more she knew the town.
milatorrezâ:
âOh honey, I absolutely donât even blame you,â She chuckled. âThank god,â she lifted her glass up before shotting it back, ordering another instantly. She didnât mind anyway, this girl was gorgeous so Mila was actually, kind of glad her friend ditched her. âMila.â
She joined the girl in taking a shot and ordering the next with her. âVictoria.â She smiled. âThank god for finding another girl who can drink like me. All Iâve seen are pussies tonight that canât handle their drink.â She looked around the bar as she saw another guy going to the toilet to throw up.
astridxkingâ:
âHe is, but truthfully I donât think heâd be able to handle you,â she laughed. Victoria was pretty much the complete opposite of her brother, the thought of the two of them as an item made her brain spaz out. âNo, you donât, Piper has been traumatized enough this year,â she grumbled. âLast year, even,â she still got a little confused, forgetting it was a new year. âAnyway, thank you, Iâm really proud of what Iâve done here.â Astrid grinned before tugging on her hand. âCome on, we need to get drunk and you can tell me all about the exotic men and women youâve met on your travels.âÂ
âStill Iâll keep it in mind. Who knows, maybe Iâll be your sister in law.â She booped her nose but clearly joking. They both knew it would take a hell of a lot for Victoria to date someone, let alone marry them... unless if it was a Vegas wedding... âThat sounds like the best thing Iâve heard all day.â She hooked her arm with the other girl and started to head in the direction of one of the bars. She hadnât decided which yet.
pcstcardsâ:
â okay, well  now iâm offended, â she scoffed and pressed a hand to her chest as if she were  that hurt. â does this mean youâd  never sleep with me or you just havenât gotten the  chance yet ? â ivy teased, attempting to not smirk at victoria.
âNow isnât that the mystery?â She teased. Victoria certainly wouldnât throw Ivy out of bed and it would be a big fuck you to Dominic at the same time... or heâd just find it hot.
saltedwcundâ:
â so, that means  you can pay for my dinner then ? â he smirked, clearly teasing her about her trust fund. his own parents had grown up wealthy which  essentially made brendan one of those âtrust fundâ babies as well. but underneath  all of those zeros in his bank account, brendan  didnât care about money. aside from his lavish home and car, he wasnât a materialistic person. most of the time, his money would go to charities. â is that so ? and how exactly do you â spiceâ someone up ? â
âIâd happily pay but it tends to burst menâs egos.â She replied honestly. She didnât see why. They should know Victoria wasnât the type to want to be wined and dined and have everything paid for. She could do that herself. âWell...â Her hand moved on to his legs despite him driving them and leaned in closer to him.. âThey canât say anything boring with my mouth on theirs.â She spoke in a low voice and a smirk on her face.
Dying, Molly had decided, was not any more fun the second time around. Not that she remembered the first time - she just assumed that it had been unpleasant enough to block out - but getting your heart torn out of your chest? Definitely not something she was interested in experiencing again. After her resurrection, courtesy of a group of witches and a demon she hoped sheâd never cross paths with again, sheâd readjusted quickly: new clothes, new foreclosure, new walking blood bags compelled to stay in said foreclosure until she told them otherwise. The idea that sheâd been gone a year and a half would have been frightening, if she were capable of that kind of emotion, but she had other scores to settle at the moment. âNo one in this godforsaken shithole bothered to look for me?â She says mostly to herself, but itâs loud enough for any passerby to hear as she strode through town. âRude.âÂ
Victoria instantly recognised that voice and smiled. âHey!â Sure, Molly had been a bad influence on Victoria when she was a vampire but itâs not like she was hard to corrupt either. âI donât have a clue what youâre talking about. Iâve been away for far too long.â
