Hello! I am going to edit garfield comics so that the thought bubbles are removed, pretty simple

Original idea by multiple people, including @bogleech and a bunch of other people in various forums across the internet

I may also make miscellaneous edits along the way. Sometimes when I find a funny idea and when a particular comic already lacks thought bubbles. I started with June 19, 1978, the first official Garfield comic and will advance one day at a time until I reach present day. Then perhaps weekly updates, idk, we'll garf that bridge when we come to it.

Ever since GoComics paywalled every comic older than 30 days old, I have switched to antifandom.com/garfield (breezewiki's clutter-free fix for garfield.fandom.com). I typically use MS Paint to edit because the only pain worse than using Ms Pain is trying to learn better software. Otherwise, I use the paint.net program, whenever i need to make changes a step above Pain's abilities.

Nov 2, 2024 Edit: Yeah the daily progress didn't end up happening and the back-log is still extensive, life happens and all that. Occasional Updates when I find the ⏳Time⏳ and ✨Motivation✨ also fixed weird grammar, it's just me doing this now

I had to specifically plan to wake up Friday morning to make the previous post's navigation bar have a proper link for the previous button. (If I actually succeeded in my plan is up to reader interpretation)

The whole reason I don't have a nav bar on these is because I can't link to a queued post without the preview link immediately shattering when it gets posted.

I don't know a fix to this and am simply too afraid to ask other comic artists/editors how they do theirs

aha i tricked everyone to not notice how scuffed the chairs were in the last comic. instead you were distracted by garfield's tragically elongated eyes

if only i had a < First Edit | Previous Comic | Next Comic | Latest Edit > section on each of the comics so you could easily navigate to find the next one
