Marlene Mckinnon Headcanons
*Disclaimer: these are all personal headcanons*
Shes extremely proud of her house
Is the biggest extrovert you'll ever meet; literally feeds off of talking with other people
Even though she usually gets a lot of attention because of her personality, she can be a bit of an attention whore at times when she feels left out
Has long, wavy blonde hair that she would never cut short
"Marly I swear to Merlin, I'll cut it myself. You shed like a bloody cat!" "Fight me, Lily."
Ironically, loves styling hair and is always doing her friends but almost never has time to do her own so it's always either down or in a quick, messy bun/ponytail/braid
The only time she ever cuts her hair short is sometime at the start of the war and she only does it for convenience
Her eyes are green-blue with flecks of gold in them that resemble the turquoise color of the sea
Sirius would never admit it but he could spend hours studying the different shades they turn depending on the way the light touches them
She's of average height but next to 6' Sirius she always complains that he makes her look short af
Halfblood but theres a common misconception that shes a pureblood because both her parents are magical; muggleborn wizard father, halfblood witch mother
Sirius's family hates her not only because of her blood status but also because they are convinced she (and the rest of the marauders) are the reason Sirius is so rogue
Favorite color is deep red but she also loves wearing black because it's so versatile
One word to describe her style: bold
Her nails are always kept short and painted a loud color; usually any shade of red
Doesn't usually wear makeup but when she does, it's like the rest of her style, bold. She usually likes doing a red lip, any shade, with nothing else except some mascara
Loves lace-up combat boots. Would wear them all the time if she could.
Makes up any excuse to wear her gryffindor jumper literally 24/7
Competitive as hell. You challenge her, theres no way she'd back down
She's also known to have a bit of a fiery temper. Gets riled up very easily
However, there are a few select people that if they catch her at certain times, she's super soft with (Lily, Sirius, her brothers, occasionally James)
Also super protective of the people mentioned above :)
Played quidditch as a chaser during her 4th to 6th years at Hogwarts and become commentator in her 7th year
Can hold her freaking liquor and drank all the gryffindor guys under the table at a quidditch party once (and then passed the fuck out)
Hates the taste of firewhisky but loves the burn
Can hold her own in a duel but has been known to completely abandon her wand (and the rules) and throw a couple punches at a few people during her hogwarts days
"Forget wands I'm taking this bitch down myself, out of my way Lily"
Is surprisingly good at Herbology
Also has good grades in potions but that's mostly because of Lily
Has pretty mediocre grades in DADA but that's mostly because her heart isn't really in it (but she can be really good at it if she needs to be; shes part of the Order for a reason people)
Absolute shit at every other subject under the sun
Wanted to become a healer after Hogwarts
