Bruce had asked to meet Steve a week ago and a part of him was regretting it. Of course he couldn't do a damn thing about it now that he was sitting in the diner waiting for him. The mess with Hydra had left the scientist in quite the nervous state. How was he supposed to lay low when everyone with internet knew all about him?

He sat in a chair in the corner of the lab, his face enshrouded by shadows, his dark eyes fixed on the door. He did not move, or speak when it finally opened, just waited patiently to be noticed.

The first thing that Bruce does when he walks in is turn on the light. The intruder is not noted in his tired mind. It has been three days , four hours and ten minutes since he last slept. Though he will not readily admit it,his brain is working a bit slower than normal. 

Bruce sits his coffee cup on the table next to the door, on top of a few hastily scribbled notes. It is when he takes off his coat and finally scans the room , that he sees the dark figure watching him like a predator. There is no big reaction. No jump or unmanly squeak. 

"Who are you," he asks, voice faint in the quiet room.
